    So who owns WASPS?

we don't know if it is to increase financial punch or a question of survival at their level. We don't know the feelings of their fans. We don't know whether the stadium would just be for European games and events, with maybe City as a tenant. We don't know a lot about the proposal, but we do...

    So who owns WASPS?

i am not giving ACL a free pass. SISU are. If ACL were in talks with TF and then pulled a fast one, I would say WTF... but, iafter coming home to Cov, the first thing that TF did was to confirm going ahead with P.i.T.S. Stadium and that SISU were going ahead with appeal. So much for healing...

    So who owns WASPS?

Moving away for us would be wrong. We don't need to. Moving away for Wasps may be right if Wycombe ( the residents ) doesn't want a larger stadium and Wasps have to have one that holds over 15000 for European games, then Wasps are going to either give up on being a top European side or find an...

    So who owns WASPS?

No. If SISU built a 35000 seater stadium miles away it would be madness as they have/ had the chance to start negotiating for a 32000 seater stadium in Cov. If they had a 12000 to 15000 stadium near Coventry, and then decided to come back to the Ricoh because of ambition and transport...

    So who owns WASPS?

I give a shit about the ambition of CCFC. If Wasps have ambition - fair play to them. We don't. CCFC have a stadium in Cov, but are leaving for a small town or village. If that goes ahead, you or your children will be standing on a wet Sunday morning in the Memorial Park. Fair play to you if...

    So who owns WASPS?

Note: I said "if". Whatever happens next, the present plan is to leave the Ricoh. Whether Wasps are there or not, we have no chance of getting back to the PL. If the Wasps proposal considers us in anyway being permanently at the Ricoh at some time in the future, it will be better than our...

    So who owns WASPS?

I am a City fan first and foremost. You seem to be content to slag off anyone who is against the status quo. You also compare our predicament to that of Wasps. That is like comparing an apple to a pear. Wasps have sporting ambition as a priority. They need a bigger stadium for, at least...

    So who owns WASPS?

I have an issue about our predicament. Wasps have a different predicament. They want to better themselves by having a better stadium to cope with increased success ( their aim and hope ). We want to downsize from a stadium in our home town - not much hope or aim for success.

    So who owns WASPS?

Not all businessmen are shady. Been near SISU too long. If this deal turns out to benefit "the club" and "SP and the lads" , as I suspect, there will be a lot of humble pie being consumed by certain posters and plenty of Double Standards. But we don't know yet. All we know is that SISU are...

Get Cov Back to the Ricoh response to Wasps Ricoh Takeover

They are very quiet although they have known about this for some time. Who knows, they may even have a side deal with Wasps.

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

I meant theoretically. They own a sports club. In reality though they have put trying to make a quick buck before the original aims of the founders of the club.

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

It matters because CCC are involved and we all know about the money they are owed, Wasps can pay. Cov can't. Man U are happy where they are. The football Club only comes into it when there's a chance of a quick buck. I still want to SISU to come back to the original plan of promotion and a quick...

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

No. City wanted to distress a stadium management company in order to obtain a freehold on the cheap. Nothing to do with the football Team. Investors returns. I would not complain if SISU bought ACL and Rented to Wasps using the income to Build the team and went about getting a Return that way...

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

I think SISU's statements that they are carrying on with the JR and stadium negated the need for ACL's and CCC's PR team. Saved a Lot of money.

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

Don't give them ideas! I thought the Problem was that Wasps couldn't get planning permission to Build a bigger stadium there. That's why they like our stadium.

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

The subject of Wasps only came up because of SISU not making an offer for a part of ACL. That's why I blame SISU. Wasps want a home. Neither I nor you know the whole story. It is no comparison to property speculation as in our case. If Wasps were tenants of city you wouldn't here a murmour on here.

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

Yes it is SISU's fault. What part of "we're building our own stadium" do you not understand?

"Let’s be clear, we absolutely want the football club to stay at the Ricoh"

Can you read ffs! I said some Wasp fans may see it as good for the future of wasps. I don't know. I was in Dublin last Year at the Heineken Cup final. Fantastic! I still want CCFC in Cov.... Not near Cov. That's the difference between me and SISU. Don't blame ACL for talking to Wasps. Blame the...
