Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Personally I think an offer of £10m upfront would get SISU listening and £15m would see them gone. Offers of £4m and we'll pay you more when we win the Champions League aren't going to go anywhere.

    General Election

Read the Conservatives Freeing Britain to Compete report from prior to the crisis. They wanted far less regulation of banks than Labour implemented in particular mortgages and pension providers. In fact they wanted to completely remove all regulation on mortgages. Some quotes from the report...

Even if you don't believe there is a different between Labour under Corbyn and under Brown & Blair its a touch misleading to compare the midst of a global financial crisis to now. How about looking over the full labour term (1997 - 2010) against the current conservative term. ANNUAL DEFICIT...

    Birmingham Airport

Baginton won't ever have commercial passenger flights again unless it is hugely revamped. After the council denied permission to bring the passenger terminal up to standard that side of the airport was redeveloped.

She won't go head to head with Corbyn on Question Time tonight despite the BBC and Corbyn asking her to. She's also pulling media appearances and there is an email doing the rounds on twitter alleging all local BBC stations have been told she won't speak to them. How can she bang on about being...

    Birmingham Airport

What winds me up is we've had all this about passenger capacity and how are we going to fly more people in to London. Why not put a second runway in at Birmingham. Everything doesn't need to be in London. Same with HS2, you only ever hear about how much quicker it will be to London.

    Lee Burge Signs new contract!

Sure Burge had something in his last contract that he could leave if he didn't start a certain number of games as he didn't want to stay to be backup. Can't imagine a couple of seasons down the line he's signed a new contract to sit on the bench.

    Lee Burge Signs new contract!

Can't imagine we're going to have 3 keepers on the books when money is tight. Therefore you have to assume RCC is off and as he's under contract there should be fee involved. Would have preferred to keep him over Burge as I think he has more potential but if we can get a few quid it makes sense.

    General Election

Its a wasted vote with the system we currently have in place. Compare the votes UKIP and SNP got in the last election and the number of seats they ended up with. No point voting for someone who has no chance of winning in your constituency.

The other thing I don't get with this Corbyn supports the IRA because his was talking to them is he was talking to the loyalists as well. So using the same logic he also supports them.

    General Election

He said " I condemn all the bombing by both the loyalists and the IRA.” and “I didn’t support the IRA. I don’t support the IRA. What I want everywhere is a peace process,” Seems clear enough to me. He also was one of of only 68 MPs who signed an early day motion in 1994 which condemned bombing...
