They would still put up their colours and signs. There would be melt down on here.

The criticism here about wasps is because they are coming to a different town. Yes it's 90 miles. But the criticism would be there if wasps had moved 4 miles. The hypocrisy is that when it suits, I.e. when CCFC move into someone else's town it is ok, but when anyone comes to Coventry - Wasps...

Or against the wasps move because it's "just wrong" and for a new stadium in Nuneaton because "it's ours ". E.g. RFC

Well, I certainly won't be arguing with you on that one.

Again... Wasps = Rugby team, CCFC = football team. There is no other professional football team in Coventry... And I am talking about football - CCFC and Nuneaton Town. You are referring to a Rugby team.... As usual. wasps wasps wasps

Totally right..... So even more tragic for us, and stupid from SISU.

Yes enjoy your stadium in someone else's town. That will be really homely.

you are right. Shows that SISU followed the wrong tactic. They still are. Relationships play a big role in business. Acting like tossers, as SISU did - even if you think you are right - screws everything up.

    Good Marketing again.

I know what I would be doing if Nuneaton came with a bigger stadium than the Ricoh and thousands of fans - next plane home to protest. I am not interested in a rugby problems though, but the teams seem to be working something out - or at least there are no public protests - so I think all quiet...

    Good Marketing again.

we do belong in Cov and the Ricoh is the best stadium here. We need to make at least an attempt to get in with Wasps. Nothing against Nuneaton, but they have their own team.

    Minority Rapport

sadly true. This whole stadium talk is crazy. Someone wants to build a stadium to generate a profit. You would think that they would search the country for a city with a demand for a stadium and the potential to fill it with an anchor tenant, and build the business around that. Having found the...

I can see why a city fan would do it.... To wind everyone up and get the blood boiling... I thing it is a sick action.

    Would you go?

I believe we don't need our own stadium, or rather we can't afford one. I think we should be offering Wasps a decent return on what they paid for a share in the Ricoh. We have to be in Cov and we will never build a new stadium in Cov under SISU. I cannot compare a Rugby club's move - with the...

Wasps are coming from a small ground in a small town to a big ground in a bigger town. We are going from a big ground - without even attempting to a deal with Wasps - to a smaller ground in a small town with an exsisting lower league team ( like we could soon be ). The End - of CCFC.

    Would you go?

Who is constantly going on about Wasps? I thought this thread was about CCFC and Nuneaton. Wasps sees to be a deflection from the embarrasment of the anti-franchise fans who will have to endorse a "Franchise team" being parachuted into our footballing neighbour's town for the wrong reasons -...

    Would you go?

Really. I see the reasoning behind Wasps' move and understand it, but how does that make me a Wasps' fan? I am not bothered about Wasps', but if they are getting on with their life by doing what they are doing, then why not? What worries me, is that, if the latest rumours are true, we are being...

    Would you go?

I give a shit, and I hope that people have not given up somehow getting into the Ricoh under/ with Wasps. I also give a shit about the alternative of parachuting into a neighbouring town. That will sentence us to the lower leagues - for ever.

TBF we have never had a stadium in their town. Maybe they would adjust their view accordingly.
