Anyone that doesn’t live or work in London is lucky imo. There are good things but the bad outweighs them and it gets very tedious spending time there. Don’t understand why anyone would look forward to a visit.

End of an era. Seems a bit surreal that he’s not going to be competing any more. I don’t think even MvG or Anderson would’ve beaten Cross tonight. His double percentage was obscene. Even when he missed one he got it with the next dart. Could be the start of something quite special.

I would like to see him win it but I also think it’d be fitting for him to go out on 16 World Titles and 16 Matchplays. Wonder how many of those have been won on 16s?

I’m not a Reid fan at all but I didn’t really see the issue with that tbh. It’s not like it’s that expensive in the grand scheme of things. Seen players in a lower league than we’re in now with a better car. Plus why did he include the dealer in that tweet? The chances are he got it discounted.

MvG hasn’t been at his best this tournament so it’s not a massive shock. Especially with how Cross has played. A new era hopefully!

Most do. On the odd occasion it doesn’t print a VAT receipt you can walk a yard or five and get it from any other pump. In my experience throughout Europe a lot of petrol stations are unmanned and are debit, credit or fuel card only. Found it miles easier.

Easily. Couldn’t find a double though. MvG was poor but that’s the difference. When he’s poor his opponent has to be 100% on his game to have half a chance.

We had the chance to sign him in early December for 4m but said that was too much. Obviously we paid 5m a month or two later.

Didn’t know about that game. I hadn’t even heard of the team until this morning. Been told it’s quite popular. It’ll be sad if that wins. Any one of the other three choices I’d be happy with.

What I don’t get is when people pull up to a pump, go into the kiosk, don’t buy anything else and then pay by card. Why not pay at the pump? It’s bloody annoying!
