Rather one Michael Doyle than two David Meyler’s

Sunderland fans forum - post match

I wouldn’t be too upset if Doncaster beat them :) and then Sunderland fans calling them scum just because they lost.

Feed the Yak. I’d put Meyler in Room 101 of City players with this guy, and loads more than I care to list

    David Meyer

Would rather decent players on the pitch grinding out results. Reading can send him elsewhere to get match fit. We have managers and coaches to keep players cool.

Pass. There’s way better out there.

    Easter weekend (make or break)

Break. And it’s not even down to this weekend. What broke us was the two games against Burton and Bristol Rovers when our team wanted to take 150 touches in the box before shooting! Doncaster won’t bollock up enough to let us catch them, effectively 9 points ahead with their GD, with 12 to play...

    Silence Is deafening

Robins will only say whatever is positive won’t he. He’s not gonna say “it all looks like a grim future”, he has to give out good vibes for fans. It’s like when players sign “it’s great to sign for such a big club blah blah blah <default answer>”. They’ll never say “to be honest I’d rather have...

    Silence Is deafening

This is Seppala and her lawyers who batter people in court... I think the walls are closing.

    Evidence?

Wake up. I haven’t seen one person deny that things were thrown, I saw a few weird flying objects myself - inflatable guitars, peoples’ jackets. What we are denying is that there was a violent, torrential onslaught of missiles. They really have over exaggerated on this at Sunderland. We’ve had...

    Butts

Anyway, we could deliberate over this all night. It’s all pie in the sky. Fingers crossed for Ricoh, expecting St. Andrews

    Butts

That’s a good point. At a guess does the BPA hold around 4 maybe 5k seated and standing? Rugby really isn’t my thing so I can’t even pretend to know too much about the place. But parking again. As opposed to car parks A, B, C and all the other offsite car parks that sometimes struggle to...

    Butts

Can’t see the area coping. Very small car park, Earsldon and Spon End not exactly reliable street parking. Would also need more allocation than what the BPA has as I think far more would attend than if it was an out-of-Coventry groundshare. Also, pretty sure it’s a massive porky anyway!

Legals Update This Week / SISU Lose chance to appeal

SISU are too slimy to not pursue another legal grievance. Wonder what they’ll try. All parties know that CCFC at the Ricoh is in everyone’s best interest, just get round a table ffs. I hate the feeling that no efforts will actually be made and they’ll just go straight for the groundshare.

    PSB-protest March etc

Have they put *much* thought into this? I hate to question or criticise any protest efforts but that’s a very long walk, even though I would probably take part. Jimmy Hill way is long enough in the car, I can only try and imagine how it’d look on foot. This is way more than Gosford to Broadgate.

If we can only sign one of them

Enobakhare has without doubt lifted our team up the table, the guy is different class. Opposing managers and fans, almost every game since he joined, have said he ran the show. Jordan Willis is a rock. I want Bayliss to develop, same as Shipley who was also very good on Saturday. If the options...

    Shipley or Bayliss at CM

Gotta say for the most part yesterday, for me, Shipley looked the most composed out of the lot - mopped up a few difficult loose balls. He has far too many harsh critics and I don’t know why. However I’ve no idea which one I’d pick over the other. I think Shipley offers more goals and Bayliss...

    Thing being thrown at Sunderland

Sunderland fans scraping the barrel for the most hyperbolic of reactions. Reminding me slightly of Liverpool’s “always the victim” moody attitude. I was sat row 17 which was about 5 or 6 rows from the back, and things were being thrown even from that far back. I don’t condone it at all, just as...
