They tried. We didn’t have to and still won. We didn’t really get out of second gear. They’re pants. Slovakia, Slovenia and Scotland looked better than them. Wouldn’t put a single one of their team in ours or the three sides mentioned above based on what we’ve watched tonight. A win is a win I...

    Injury Updates

That’ll just mean he’s back doing light jogging and at the very most some light touches with the ball. Doubt he’ll be up to full twisting and turning yet.

Quite a few players would say the same too.

    This stuff writes itself

The one at Bradford was brilliant. He was a yard or two inside his own half. He took a run up, gave it some welly, it ends up high in that big stand behind the goal. Quite what he was expecting to achieve I’ll never know. Either that or any of Folley’s attempts at passing to a team mate.

    Favourite ever goal?

Against the Villa. Chippo plays it out wide to Keane, he crosses it in to Roussel, he puts in a bullet header at the near post. I've seen better goals for City but that one was my favourite. "Sacked in the morning, you're getting sacked in the morning..."

Away game with the Bloke on his shed.

His Twitter handle was EastEndShedMan. Seemed like a good bloke. Gave the money he would’ve spent on his season ticket to a local charity. Some of the players matched the donation.

This is another example of why footballers should have a licence to play. Missbehave off the pitch and you lose it for x amount of weeks/months. Works in other sports.

He’s a clown. He’ll get jobs for years due to a lucky Euros. Should be more focus on the monumental failure during the campaign afterwards.

Nah. It would’ve been more likely that Coleman would have been round his gaff while all this was going on. Now I think about it, a Sunderland player being that pissed up on the morning of a game might explain a lot.

The Belgians aren’t coming in numbers! “Members of 1895, the fan club for Belgium’s Red Devils, have booked 311 tickets for their team’s match against Panama, 1,001 for its encounter with Tunisia, and 1,461 for its last match of the group phase – against England. Fan-club members also made 194...
