You’re right. We are the last game though so 14 will know not 12.

Throwing Pints in the air to celebrate?

I can understand if they’re watching a match. If someone was holding a drink and suddenly there’s a goal it’s going to happen. What I don’t get is why large groups start doing it when there’s a chant. It’s pre planned or at least enough time to know it’s going to happen. What’s the point?!

Would love us to win the group and do so with a win on Thursday. However if it was the choice between drawing and coming top or drawing and finishing second due to having one more booking than the opposition I’d take second. It’s just one of those things. The players will know they haven’t...

Will try harder next time :-) That was ridiculous. Boiling hot too. On a train for 8 hours tonight too so no shower until the morning. Can’t judge how we played as they were that poor. Their fans went mental when they scored and I’m actually pleased for them. Some great stories on how they got...

Neuer made a couple of good stops but what was he doing for the goal? ter Stegen is a better keeper and due to the amount of football he’s played this season compared to Neuer he should be the number one.

    Armstrong, Murphy, Maddison, Kent

Of all the good players we had that season the one I’d have back first and the one I thought would cement a place in the PL first was Stephens.

Lukaku our next week. Rumour that Mertens and Hazard are going to be rested. Maybe they want to finish second too.

Morocco should’ve won or drawn that. Portugal were hanging on by their finger tips. Decent atmosphere so far. Was loads here for the last game.

Best thing about it was him telling the ref it didn’t go over the line. It’s on the ref’s watch. What was he expecting to happen?!

    How many England fans ?

As I put on the other thread Belgium only sold 311 yesterday. Not much more than a hundred for the second round too. Meanwhile the USA have sold the most. This is rubbish. They’re mostly Mexicans that live there.

    England v Tunisia

We sold 1800 plus those that bought direct through FIFA so probably around 2500. Not bad really. Belgium only sold 311 for their game today. Something that has been reported is the amount the USA have sold despite not qualifying. By far the most from any country. They’re not Americans though...

Great city. The people are really friendly. Leaving tomorrow night for Moscow. Presenting a jumper from one of the schools in Cov that I teach at to a local kids orchestra tomorrow. Plenty of links between the two cities. Can you recommend anywhere?
