Carey was a strange one wasn't he. He was exdcellent for Bristol City, then came here and was really poor and then went back to Bristol City and was excellent again. Wonder if he maybe just didn't settle in the area here.

Coop was steady, but not spectacular and Thomas was very, very good. Have to think Graham Oakey would have been one of the best too if he hadn't have cruelly had his career cut short.

Yep, Nilsson. Right back has been a problem for us over many, many years, if not decades and we've not been blessed with that many top quality right backs. Been much more joy with the left back position (Cattlin, McDonald, Pearce etc.) Nilsson. Still the 60's.

Well yep, that would have been much more preferable, but even though they have denied it, the formation of Coventry United did come across very much as a protest against what was happening with CCFC and its owners.
