Match Thread Coventry City - Leeds United Match Thread - Saturday 6th Apr

I don’t think we can afford to lose any. We could win all our remaining games and miss out on the playoffs by 1 point. Mind you, taken literally, winning all our remaining games would mean we won the FA Cup.

I’m afraid he did give the ball away, more than once.

I think the club have cut it fine in terms of starting to play WLADITT, to the point that there have been a couple of occasions they have cut it off because the game has started.

Leeds bringing over 4,000 allegedly despite only just over 2,000 tickets

I wouldn’t. If the lights are red, the cars have to stop. Just stick a traffic car between Tescos and the roundabout, that’ll slow the bastards down.

It says the ground holds 30,700 without the scoreboard. It will never hold over 32,000 because there will always be some segregation - of at least 1,500 I would have thought.

With the segregation that was in place at the start of the season, the capacity was 30,070. There are 1,071 seats in the upper balcony corporate which hadn't sold. Your calculations are miles out.

Sorry, wrong on both counts. The second was near to where I sit, clearly off Kitching’s head whilst Commentators thought it was unlucky off his knee.

It’s totally bizarre and seemingly because some people want to stand wherever they fancy it, and to hell with anyone else.

A significant part of the percentage lost is due to the huge segregation in place until recently, added to the smaller but still significant corporate boxes not selling,

Somewhere on this forum people were saying that we shouldn’t give away teams the boost of having large away followings and should limit them to a couple of thousand - the approach many clubs seem to take with us.
