I think the comments he made about the 4th official saying the goal was good, and “if it’s right it’s right” ( as opposed to stating clearly that it was the right decision) and toenails Is actually derisive of the decision. It’s called subtlety.

It was a penalty. Perhaps VAR bottled the offside because there was no time for United to come back from that if given as a goal. You could see from the reaction of all their players except the tosser in goal that they thought it was a legitimate goal and they were out.

He did manage to get a subtle dig or two in about the VAR decision, clearly thinks it was wrong.

The ref booked him for time wasting, and then he went behind the goal to get a drink wasting more time. Should have been an immediate red card.

On what basis could the handball have been ruled out? Ball clearly struck the arm being held away from the body and direction of travel changed.
