Shaquiri was a top signing no doubt but its the 'arms race' for all prem clubs to stay in the league for the big payouts coming from the TV deals. Sadly we are not quite in that category, it would take a few signings for people to take stock and be sitting in the shakeup after christmas.

For the it starts way too early in the season, we have literally kicked off on Saturday and out of the cup by Tuesday which seems crazy. The FA cup starts at a sensible point in the season where teams are settled and can prioritise accordingly and i think this is why teams play weakened sides...
