What was in the contract? I wouldn't come on the idea of a counterclaim of 290000 pounds though.

He means the Arcade , Iceland and a few crap buildings around there - I assume. Best thing that could happen.

    Yes.

No they don't. The 25000 maybe Extension only came after the fans reaction last time. It remains 15000 approved for a Rugby club.

Ffs. They had an agreement which they thought was valid. The court decided it wasn't. That is why the court is there. The counterclaim, the army of lawyers - the costs, the bad will generated were not necessary. That is the point. Now you wonder why Higgs weren't interested in selling to SISU...

What does it say in the ageement? Oh.... There isn't a written agreement.... No comparison then.

Obviously Higgs thought they had a claim at the time. There are counterclaims and counterclaims - this one was hopeless from the start - according to the judge - and pissed People off. And what did SISU get out of it? Did it help with their later bid for the share?

    Er...... No.

    Butts park arena?

People are thinking longer term and SISU may not even be around in, say, 10 years. So, it is not a question of liking or not liking SISU - in this case.

I certainly think it is a bit simplistic to blame the loss of a stadium on one person - who wasn't even on the board of CCFC.

I am understanding that - the court Said that. If it was already cut and dried, then why not walk over Higgs in a lower court with 1 lawyer? They could have saved a fortune and wouldn't need to piss anyone off with a huge and "hopeless" counterclaim.

Maybe they are worried that the investment goes into the smaller stadium as a last resort, and delays anything more ambitious. The reality is that we may not have any choice. Whereas the council may well also think that a successful team is beneficial to the city, we are still at war. These...

I suspect that although there will claims that the BPA can be expanded to 25000 - as a reaction to fans comments - the reality is that we will be lucky to get a 15000 stadium by the time the Wasps extension runs out.

Don't know, I am talking about theoretically being involved in some form at the BPA.

    Butts park arena?

I used the word "theoretically" - I know you know what that means. Theoretically we could get to the premiership under new ownership- there is no implication that future success has to come via SISU.

Maybe.. Or it is possible they wanted to use the court to get access to documents which would help JR1 - which they seem to be losing on. Another bad decision which is costing the club. What was the reason they gave for not wanting to honour the agreement that they had signed? Seems as if the...

    Butts park arena?

We may have to go to BPA whether we or SISU like it or not when the next 2 year extension ends at the Ricoh. Any other club in a 15000 ground, and either in or within a chance of getting into the premier league, would be looking at options to increase capacity. IF we ever get into that position...

    Interesting Tweets from Kieren Crowley

As it happens they didn't have to pay. The court decided that - not SISU. If SISU believed that they didn't have to pay because both sides had lost interest, then they could have pursued that with 1 lawyer in a lower court and without 5 lawyers and a 290000 counterclaim, that was described by...

No it was Higgs taking SISU to court based on an agreement and the subsequent non acceptance of a less than 1% increase on Wasps' bid accompanied by a flowery letter that caused the present crisis. You haven't been here for a while have you? Kieran has revealed all with a tweet.
