    Playing devils advocate here.

no club particularly needs to own their stadium so long as they are getting a good deal and access to revenue streams. we have been paying way over the odds and not getting access to any revenue streams! one thing that doesn't get mentioned is what happens when ACLs lease runs out. at that...

    club statement

another thought. to play devils advocate for a moment, if the invoice can't be raised as Higgs has no agreement in place then on what basis is there something to be paid? surely you need to have the agreement in place prior to use? If a new agreement is being made why should it cover a bill for...

    club statement

does that not imply that the debt for repairs etc is with the company in administration in which case they're out of luck really, they would need to apply to the administrator as a creditor. could it be that Higgs are trying to move a debt over form one company to the other. not sure SISU are...

    Rioch calls out Higgs/PWKH

I have a feeling there's some pretty strict rules about what facilities are required else they lose the academy status and funding so it's not just a case of turning up somewhere with a pitch, anywhere they use would have to be of the standard required by their academy status. Not sure if this...

    New ACL statement

the administrators priority is to ensure an ongoing viable business, if he does not think this is possible he then sells off the assets for maximum return for the creditors. There's nothing to say that SISU can't retain control, what we need to see is the administrators reports which should...

    Who Pays the Administrator ?

The administrator gets his money first out of any assets. How much it will be who knows, the Pompey administrator was told by the courts he had to stop charging once they hit a bill of £2m but they can still add costs (legal fees etc) on to that. If there isn't much money around and a...

    Joe Elliott Interview Monday Morning

I can see an argument to develop and create extra revenue streams but how is every other club going to cope that doesn't have land around the ground to develop or owners who can afford to invest in anything but the football club. My feeling is that it should be a decision for the owner of the...

    Joe Elliott Interview Monday Morning

think we need to be careful that we're not so keen to see the back of SISU that we just blindly walk into any new ownership without ensuring, as far as you can, that we will end up in a better position. I know it seems hard to imagine being in a worse position but how many times in the last few...

    Rioch calls out Higgs/PWKH

Why can't the centre just create a new agreement that puts a hold on any outstanding claim while there is doubt about who it is but term it so that it doesn't prejudice any future claim to that amount and create a new, temporary, agreement to run to the end of the season. In essence saying we'll...

    Latest SISU Press Release....

Aren't ACL using Weber Shandwick who specialise in crisis management and reputation management? They were definitely using them at one point but I'm not sure if that's an ongoing arrangement or was something short term.

    Season Ticket Sale

There will come a point where they'll have to put them on sale, if we start the season still in administration they're still going to need to sell season tickets. Pompey had to sell theirs through a 3rd party who held the money and made the payments to the club on a match by match basis so if...

    It's confirmed 10 points

the -10 is immediate and is for going into administration (Pompey had that last season), from here on in we can get another hit for any financial irregularities that get found and / or if we exit administration without a CVA. The exit without a CVA can only be applied at the point you...

    Carl Baker?

on facebook he said he was back in training earlier in the week. Seems really quick as it's not long since his op.

What About This Transfer Embargo ?

there's a minimum number of players you need (I think it might be 20), if we fall below that then we will be allowed to bring in signings despite having an embargo. Pompey took advantage of a rule that doesn't classify kids as squad memebers until a certain number of games by refusing to even...

    Fire Proof banner certificate

You need to go to a fire station I think. From memory of doing this for band backdrops you will have to spray it with something to make it fire proof.

Game still in doubt according to administrator

would like to hear what ACL think is more important than making sure the game goes ahead. If it's true that they were asked for a meeting at 9am and turned it down then that isn't good from their side unless they have a very good reason.

    Can someone please explain

we should be so lucky! seems the FL just want Pompey to end the season so they don't have that scenario, if they still have problems after that they get kicked out and at a guess an extra team gets promoted from every division below.

Is today the deadline for points deduction this season?

the key date is the date we went into admin, which was last week. They can't bump the points over to next season just because it took the FL a while to make up their minds what was happening. The points deduction next season will be for coming out of admin without a CVA or financial irregularities.
