Yeah but we can’t have bad things said about good ol’ Boris can we. No politics allowed and no criticising the government. I’m certain those banging on about other making things ‘political’ would of course keep their mouthes shut if Labour were in power and making a mess of things right now...

European Football has voted and committed

Not particularly good for us this. Current thinking is that we'll be hitting the worst of this around May time, I don't see it being possible to finish the season by the end of June which would mean us entering null and void territory.

Telling people to avoid pubs and restaurants without actually closing them is a cowardly act of selfishness designed to protect the insurance companies and ruin the lives of many working in the service and hospitality industry. It’s shameful.

Government admit themselves that they took the wrong approach and yet some on here are still defending said approach. It’s like it’s bloody football match and people don’t want to criticise their teams’. Beggars belief.

    Solutions to complete the Season

It's a solution because it's the easiest thing to do. No promotions are guaranteed so technically no-one is missing out, while clubs that are relegated and being punished without having fully earned it. No-one knows exactly what is going to happen but voiding is definitely a real possibility.

    Solutions to complete the Season

The major thing going against us is that voiding the season probably pisses off the least clubs. The teams currently at threat of relegation would be fine with it and the teams battling for the play-offs probably won’t mind too much either as nothing was guaranteed for them anyway. In reality...

Talk that the Germans may just void the league title and not relegate anyone, instead just promoting and having a larger top division. Would possibly be a solution here but would take some logistics to sort out getting the Prem back down to 20 the year after. Although it has already been done...

    Should I stay I should I go?

I'd be surprised if it's still on after the Arteta announcement. If the Premier League goes I'd imagine the EFL will follow suit.

Think there is a very real possibility that the league will be initially postponed and ultimately cancelled depending on how long this virus lasts for. How things go from there it's impossible to say. Clubs like Man United, Spurs, Aston Villa and Bournemouth are not going to be happy if they're...

The Times article suggest that there is a penalty clause in the Premier League broadcasting contracts meaning that if the season was cancelled the Premier League would have to pay out hundreds of millions to the broadcasting companies, hence the eagerness to keep the games on.
