Always used to be okay. Guess they may be a bit sensitive to the thought of an explosive device. Wonder if they have updated their policy following Paris.

Yes, guess so. One day hopefully someone will invent the umbrella.

On Sunday though, after the first few possessions, Redskins didn't get near Rodgers and their pass rush isn't that bad. Packers did something right to protect him.

David Bowie and the West End

Me neither on the Diana front. I avoided that whole circus like the plague. Switched off the news, avoided the funeral, didn't look at the papers. Didn't get the allure of Diana at all.

David Bowie and the West End

Cheers! I recall a few bands and artists refusing to do their old stuff. Case in point was Skids, who I saw live in about 1979/80. They had a really popular song called TV Stars which the fans loved and were baying for in the encore, but the band refused to play it and the fans were not at all...

David Bowie and the West End

Can I just ask, as he changed his style and his music direction so much, when he did a specific tour based around a specific theme, did he still play his old stuff too? Anyone who saw him live confirm? Just thinking old stuff wouldn't fit in with the current look or style he had for the...

David Bowie and the West End

No, agree. I most certainly didn't cry when Diana died I can tell you. I cried when John Lennon died and I cried when Bowie died. He didn't affect my life on a personal level, but his music moved me so much. Life on Mars has always given me goosebumps and Heroes too, both of which are...

Fair point. Tchaikovsky very much influenced me and had an effect on me. He's not of my time either. Same too for Billie Holiday and Cab Calloway.

Actually just changed my mind about the Chiefs. Just looked now and they have some key injuries to their pass rushing and New England have a few fit again, so I am going for Pats win. If Brady gets time he will just pick them apart. Denver v Panthers or Packers final.

David Bowie and the West End

Yep, would echo this. This is a bloke who was almost gender neutral. Loved by men and women alike. Guess he made it okay to be different and at least to a degree to be cool being different too. I mean this is bloke in 1972 in a dress! Just have to put it in context just how out of the norm...

If Rodgers is on fire then I see no reason why they can't win the Superbowl. Got a feeling Kansas City may make the final from the AFC and from the NFC, probably Carolina or Green Bay. Think the Panthers will beat Seattle and Arizona still don't have a top rate quarterback. Money would have...

David Bowie and the West End

I cried when I heard, Nick and then again last night during the 30 min tribute programme the Beeb aired at 7.30. Just such an important artist and a person who had a profound effect on many lives. Still feel like crying now. :(

Back to being the biggest club in Coventry?

Wasps tent in Broadgate today. Luckily no-one seemed interested and it was just 2 blokes and a women in Wasps jackets standing there looking bored. Was tempted to go round the back and pull out their tent pegs. ;) Sent from my Hudl 2 using Tapatalk

    Bowie dead!

Well Jagger anyway, yes and of course McCartney. The outpouring will be just as strong I would have thought when he goes.
