In the absence of home games in Cov last season Me, the wife and 2 under 16 year old daughters did 9 matches at Cov Rugby. It's not the City and football I know but by comparison we paid £28 per match for all of us { Under 16's attend free with an adult} but if we all rock up to the Ricoh for a...

Profit doesn't come into it. Hardly any clubs make profits. They have to be sustainable and make enough to service debts more like. But it's all about economics I agree, supply and demand. The supply and demand is both in evidence as was shown on Friday but the pricing structure is flawed. At...

My mate a former Sixfielder is now paying £9 a game at the Ricoh with his transferred ST but at very best new ST take ups pay £15 ?! £24 to pay on the gate at a 2/3rd's empty stadium and that's normal. Actually it's football where owners and accountants rely on trying to fleece the most loyal...

    Nuneaton Town

I look out for their results and hope they win to be honest. Nuneaton has a nice little shopping area/market. Many City fans from Nun although bizarrely many Leicester fans also. Disappoints me the lack of loyalty to Coventry from many of the Warwickshire towns North and South to be honest...

    Yeovil Attendance

Reality is, that Coventry City play in the 3rd tier of English football and with a limited supporter base mainly living in only a moderately wealthy City then the economics have to suit the environment. Some can pay comfortably, many can't ! It's supply and demand too, the seats are there, fill...

    Closing South Stand now

More pathetic police interference no doubt. The South Stand would have generated a cracking atmosphere from blocks 18-10 due to the proximity to the away fans. They really are determined to make it as library like as they possibly can. In the meantime still picking up £35 per hour for overtime...

JSB membership used to be about £15-£20 so has to be used a few times to gain the benefit.

    Yeovil Attendance

The ST is not just about saving money either is it. It's about commitment, loyalty, convenience, preference on away tickets, discounts on merchandise etc. All the years I had an ST, I wouldn't have cared two hoots if the club had let everyone else in for the same amortized price as long as I and...

    Yeovil Attendance

£15 Adults £10 16-21 + OAP's £5 Under 16's ! I can understand higher prices at higher levels and with demand high but not in a half empty stadium.

    Yeovil Attendance

I shall go to this game irrespective but this is 2014 and the cost of living/earnings ratio makes a trip to the football more of a treat for many than an easily affordable Saturday ritual. Before someone says buy an ST, yes I've had 20 years of these in total but this next 12 months I'm hoping...

    Yeovil Attendance

How much is it ? £24 on the gate for an adult ? All of a sudden that's quite expensive for many people, especially if you add on travel, parking and subsistence to that and that's without paying for kids !

    Fan Base

Like the IOW, we stayed in a fabulous little cottage on Borthwood Lane in 2012. Looked over the fields to Sandown and Shanklin and then Culver Down. Cracking rural spot, horses in the fields in front and red squirrels hanging off the bird feeders in the back garden.

Anyone in to stocks & shares?

The stock market is quite high at the moment I believe, so you have to be very astute to know what to invest in, or 'In the Know' of course. Guy I know seems to do OK but steers away from FTSE 100 and looks at up and coming enterprises.

    No love lost with Villa

1987, to think that not only did we lift the cup, both Villa and Leicester were relegated, no wonder we were all in 7th heaven !

    Tudgay

Can't disagree with much that has been said about Tudgay on here. When he signed I was surprised and pleased but certainly on Friday he was awful.

    Fan Base

Born in Cov, but for all but a couple of years have lived 15 miles outside the City. Loyalty came from both sets of Grandparents and other family who all lived in different parts of the City. My parents were also born there but never followed football but my old boy did used to acquire some...

    Best CCFC atmosphere since????

You've just said it yourself 'Last Minute'.............Yes it was fantastic after we equalized and then got the winner but for much of the game it looked like we were going to lose. Friday was noisy for large spells for 2 hours.
