An Email to Councillor Jayne Innes & MP Geoffrey Robinson

Great letter, good passion. Let us know if there is a response and maybe more can follow this up and keep the momentum

It just adds to the working class angle....;)

    Ticket office staff losing jobs

It's a shame for anyone to lose their jobs, jobs like these cater for part time workers for parents or young kids in college. Cannot understand why people revel in people losing their jobs

Technically both terminations of contract, little difference

    Kilmarnock after Armstrong...

I think it depends on who they offload in the pre season. He would do a great job for his home team and will carry favour with the fans. They would be daft to loan him out again

    England 7 Serbia 0

I went to the World Cup game and it was dull as fook. I am glad they are a decent team and all that but just cannot get excited by it. Anyway the men's game is in good nik in my opinion

    CCC end game

The councils end game is simple, who pays the most I.e. Cov uni and wasps. They have no interest in bartering just want quick cash to meet their development plans

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

For me this sound bite is a prelude to 'as we said the butts deal was the one we wanted but it's just not big enough for what we need and therefore this is no longer an option, only only option is the site 15 miles outside of coventry' Or words to that affect in about 9 months time

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Surely any party wouldn't continue with such a lengthy legal process unless they think they have a chance of success, the costs alone would dictate this. We all think it's pointless but they clearly don't!

Did anyone watch the euro 96 documentary on last night

It is probably the tournAment that I really remember, great team spirit, great games, great weather, the country was buzzing

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

What I don't understand is why they would allegedly thrash out 2/3 of the 17 demands the all of a sudden stop discussions? What changed to suddenly stop, the court action is hardly new news to them?

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Agree but they didn't have a council who do not want them to go ahead with it. What I cannot understand is what sisu's end game is here, avenues are being closed and ideas running thin. I honestly cannot see us playing within Coventry in the next two years

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Clearly SISU must think they have a chance of winning in the courts or they wouldn't go through with this action surely. Where I work, we know if we can win a case and will fight it (sometimes it costs us more but it's the principal) and we know when we have to talk 'deal'. Sisu have at great...

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

It's one and the same, they own us and represent us. You cannot negotiate with ccfc without SISU

    Time to create awarenes

I can't knock the effort but I think the anger is misdirected, wasps are implementing their plan and the sports foundation are letting that happen at the detriment to us. Again it's clear that we as a club have not been pro active in negotiating this contract like the Ricoh deal. We have simply...
