This is the bit I don’t understand. How can the ref tell it’s offside when the persons who job it is to check for offsides doesn’t think it was.

What dint sit right with me re the officials was the assistant had not given it. So clearly did not think it was offside. The ref went over and swayed the discussion. No point in having assistant refs if they are told what to do.

Surely the ref will need to be inspected for match fixing. You can’t make that many errors by mistake.

3 goals classed as offside and 2/3 penalties not given. Multiple yellows not given. Good work EFL Refs. But we need to make more chances and need to make changes quicker.
