Why Did The Council Sell To Wasps?

Not so sure about that, I don't think they could remain there in league one without ARVO putting more dosh in. Maybe in league two they could as wages are much lower.

Actually no one has done such a study for Coventry have they? So all the figures bandied about for Wasps or CCFC are probably made up.

Perhaps you can ask Rob Stevens where he got his figures about the benefit of Sky Blues playing in Coventry from, he said £20M lost because Sky Blues not here? That is the best part of £1M per game.. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/any-sky-blues-return-must-6353243

It was a petition for CCFC situation to be debated in parliament.. but I think the this needs to be about football in this country in general.

Trust calls on Coventry City FC owners Sisu to sell-up and leave

I think other prospective owners are waiting for them to fail and bail relatively cheaply. I don't think they can service the debt and run the club and build a stadium.

    Transfer Window Thread

Madine & Swanson are gone now. Swanson signed a 2 year contract and has hardly played. Pennington's existing loan finishes 7th Feb, joined 27th Nov, so I think it is possible to get a few more weeks till the 93 day loan limit

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

You don't need 60 acres for a stadium & training complex. You do need 60 acres if the whole shebang relies on a deal to sell/finance the land not needed for a stadium with partner investors to cover your costs. Therefore I reckon SISU can't take the new stadium project forward unless they...

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

I would like CT to take up the matter of the radius the FL has stated a new stadium must lie within, I notice TF mentioned it but put no number to it, that should not be hidden because it is very a important detail indeed.

I think this situation shows that the FL test is worthless 99 times out of 100.

Read reasons behind rejection of Sisu's application to appeal

It must be about bringing in' new evidence' So depressing this endless litigation will kill the soul of club, if it hasn't already.
