Nah it’s because the summer has been a disaster. Missed all our targets, scraped around for kids, had to sell a player under the manager with no time to replace, didn’t have a pitch. Seemingly rejected bids that would’ve meant we could pay debts and rebuild.

We’ve got enough to pull ourselves out of it. The bigger worry is the general melancholy that seems to have set in around the club thanks to the owners not being able to organise a piss up in a brewery.

Now is a good time for a sale all round. Club is just hanging on, looking like a poor season ahead, player and fan confidence at a low, but actually got the games in hand to pull ourselves up somewhere decent. New owner, bit of buzz around the club, then decent January window to kick on...
