This window. We need to try and get a number 9 in to phase Godden out. I would keep him however till the end of the season as an option for depth and move Tavares out on loan. Also, that marquee central midfielder needs to come in if available at the right price, otherwise that might not...

Wright is 3/4 years ahead of Simms. Simms is a longer term project. He occupies defenders which gives our other attackers space to operate. He is the best option in that central role ahead of Godden.

Simms occupies the central defenders to give Wright and Tatsu space to do their thing. For me at the moment the front 3 is working well. Ultimately it’s a team game and we’re getting results at the moment.

We’re evolving as a team and he’s played a big part in our journey. I can’t see him being here after this season.

Good to see Simms get a goal. He has to start ahead of Godden.

Wright on course for about 15 goals and 10 assists in his first season. Not bad. Will be even better the season after. On course to be a decent asset for us.
