Rudoni and EMC will make quite a few people on this forum look pretty stupid tbh, just as many players before them have. Rudoni has been pretty good all along imo, in a struggling team lets not forget.
I doubt it. You're just digging around for success stories which is easy to do but many many clubs in this league make awful signings and awful managerial appointments - not sure what your point is on the latter btw.
Defo for another thread but i reckon all our out of contract players will be off in the summer, can't see us renewing any of them. Interested to know what others thoughts are.
Agreed. I didn't agree with you on BTA at the time but when we then went on to sign Bassette also, who clearly has way more potential imo, it just made the BTA signing look a waste of funds. Hopefully we still get some use from him.
Gyok and Hamer were cheat codes. Such a shame we missed our sliding doors moment, think we'd have had half a chance of staying up with them 2 as our starting point.
Not a bad thing, gives people a chance to stake a claim to start more regularly under the new management. Either that or prove they really are done and need shifting on. We'll learn something anyway.
A win against any of the 4 teams that came to the CBS and beat us would have us above the team in question. All really really poor results.
You expect some poor results in a season but facts are we were getting way too many and the home form had actually been embarrassing for some time.
You can expect it as I'm not sure what your or I expect matters one jot. Personally I'd just like to see more of what I've been seeing. If it leads to a win then great, if we play ok and come away with an away point, it's alright for me.
I don't think we did the double over a single one of the bottom 5 last season. It's a hard league and our default this season has been fairly poor. We're improving but expecting to go on a huge unbeaten run would be some going, as nice as it would be.
Personally I'd take 1 game at a time. I'd...
Exactly that. I like it though, I always found Sheaf and Eccles together pretty dull tbh.
Harsh on Eccles who's had a decent season but I understand why Lampard would go with Sheaf. We'll still see plenty of Eccles I'm sure.
No I agree with you, he did seem to be holding that position.
Lampard seems to prefer him to Eccles and I quite like the sound of a Sheaf, Torp, Rudoni midfield.
