VED is nothing to do with roads any more, it’s not a hypothecated tax and why it’s no longer called Road fund tax. BEVs are paying no VED and, if charged at home, very small taxation on fuel. So, road pricing on BEVs or dropping all other fuel taxes and charging road pricing on all vehicles...
