    Matt Godden

He’s shown when he gets chances he’s a decent enough finisher (see hat tricks). As mentioned by others as lone striker he’s doing the leg work of two for most the game which can mean he’s not always in the places we’d want him to be (in the box) Ultimately he’s doing an unselfish job for the...

    Portsmouth (H)

Hope so Pete ! If we can replicate the atmosphere at the blues game (in patches) would be great for the players

Agree in theory but in reality we’ll earn a decent chunk from going through and unfortunately we’re not in a financial position to turn that down (as long as we avoid injuries/burn out - over to Robins to sort that)

Get in ! Great result (especially coming back to win away)

I know mate but as soon as he was ‘fit’ he was playing, as lone striker at that !

Think people forget that Godden had a pretty bad injury and has been chucked back in playing game in game out. Probably needs a breather ! Ps hoping Allen’s performance (which sounds decent) has shown Robins that it’s ok to rotate and there’s some decent talent on bench/in squad

    Jordan Thompson

Agree Clint. when I saw drysdale play earlier in the season I thought Thompson looked the better out the two, very early days for both though. I also think it was Dysdales full debut when I saw him (so nerves, pace of game may have impacted performance)

    Robins Meeting Seppala

unfortunately I tend to agree. If we don’t go up or are at St. Andrews next year I do wonder if Robins will hang around if other opportunities arise, which they undoubtedly will. He’s always had to work under financial constraints but another year at St Andrews would be a different level I’d be...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Can’t argue with much of that. We’ll never know peoples underlying thoughts I guess (I suppose I try to err on the optimistic side of things when it comes to my views of people in general.... I appreciate possibly sometimes incorrectly !)

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

But the concerns people have/had regarding EU immigration are the real world and ignoring them is my point I dug out that analysis in one minute after googling as I wanted to check both your/my comments on the Brexit vote. 60% of people who voted leave did so for issues totally unrelated to...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I was referring back to you saying Brexit was a racist vote I have agreed racism is on the rise, I have agreed it needs to be stamped out so not quite sure what you’re on about. The point I am making is that unless you listen to and address people’s genuine concerns, you exacerbate the...

not my study by the way ! Just one I googled and was on first page

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

So you’re saying none of the concerns in relation control of immigration listed are valid concerns for people around the country ? As I say, unfortunately you’re part of the problem ps 40% isn’t a majority, it’s the no 1 reason yes but sovereignty (c35%) and cost (20%+) together alone make up...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

look at the percentages, hardly the massive majority you were projecting it is also taking about UK gaining control of EU immigration (although you’re view is backed up as the standard ‘Remainers’ views on leave voters - figure 2) Ill repeat (again) that there are various nuances in relation...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

You quoted me ! (Out of wider context). Also you are lumping in people’s concern over immigration in one big racist box...it’s ridiculous and I repeat is partially the cause of the problem. I explained in the list of reasons/potential reasons the nuances surrounding the subject of immigration...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

nonsense. I said the Brexit vote itself couldn’t be classed as a racist vote and listed the various reasons why people voted that way (because I actually read and listen to other people’s views !) I also said the result had empowered racists and it needs be stamped out Read the posts !

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Never said it wasn’t or couldn’t be (in actual fact I had already indicated in my post it had increased post referendum result) but it’s not that simple, not by a long stretch. unless you address the causes you won’t control the symptoms. Unfortunately, as I also indicated people with a...

    No New Signings

Frustrating as it’s always good to freshen things up (gets fans excited !) but other than a goalscorer (incase Godden gets injured) who are hardly two a penny, it’s difficult to know what you’d bring in. A winger possibly. Would rather just see Robins utilise what we’ve got a little bit more ie...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I was desperate to avoid getting back involved in this debate (EU ref not wider racism) as, in my view, it’s passed but Ring of Steel in particular has been making suggestions that Brexit was a racist vote or harking back to the good old days of the empire, so I had to comment (even if this is...
