Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

If that happens it’s time for Sisu to go. I wouldn’t stop going, but I’d focus everything on getting them out as there’s no future with them in charge. I’m not too fussed about the stadium, I think it doesn’t really matter if we rent or own, and not too bothered about Wasps until they fuck up...

    The dom hyam sale

Thats what I’m saying though. A decent chairman this summer would have shifted some of the deadwood and maximised out sales. Instead we’re bringing people in from the cold cos we have to and selling cut price last minute. That alone could add your £3-4m to the budget. Along with an improved...

    The dom hyam sale

Exactly. Though TBF Luton’s finances are very similar to ours if you take our their recent big sales. This summer was the test. Has Boddy got the nous to maximise commercial value and transfer value at this level? I think we can all see that answer now. More than tens of millions of quid, we...

    The dom hyam sale

What? Who? Everyone knew we needed to sell big to rebuild this summer. And even people like me who don’t rate Hyam would rate him higher than that for an established Championship club. I wouldn’t have guessed Blackburn would be in for him but once they were clearly his value was at least double...

    The dom hyam sale

Always this argument “We either atrophy as a club and spend nothing, while we have a manager whonactually gets returns on investment. Or we have to spend tens of millions and go bust” May I remind you we went bust not so long ago and apparently are in tens of millions of debt anyway. So frankly...

    The dom hyam sale

Not according to the ITKs who were saying we were days from admin and relying on a sale all summer.

    The dom hyam sale

For me the sign the owners were done no so much about Hyam, I wasn’t his biggest fan, but selling that cheap that late to plug a six month hole that small rather than the owners subbing us the cash until Jan when we can almost certainly make a big sale just showed Sisu are done.

    Hypothetical changes to the CBS

How would a stadium owner run a train? Buses maybe. Agree about a bridge, or at least improve the underpass which is grotty as fuck for one of the main ways in and out the ground. Outside needs more identity, and history of the club, as do the concourses which feel very sterile. As others...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I dunno, there’s always been this pipe dream of Sisu getting the ground the. Selling us to all the billionaires who will want us. Or if said billionaires cutting out the middle man they’ll buy them both at the same time. If this ends up with a new ACL/Wasps owner and Sisu are still here I think...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Would be a little funny if the root of the structural problems was the allergies Incester shirt buried in there…

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

You don’t think the single freeholder of a suitable stadium in the city is a partner? And you’re questioning the intelligence of others? Your problem from the start of you’re blinded by politics. Go touch some grass, of course the local authority is a huge stakeholder for a business like CCFC...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

You hope so, but equally you’d have thought if that was the case then that’s the obvious answer rather than “Well obviously no one would kick the club out” (which I agree with but sounds more hope than we have a cast iron legal clause)

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

You knack for spotting humour not diminished then. It was a playful reference to Sisus complete inability to do even the most basic attempts at cosying up to partners. But “whoosh” I guess 🙄

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Seems pretty much what you’d expect, good to hear they’re leaving it up to the administrator. One area for wiggle room is they’d want regeneration plans, but you’d expect any bidder worth their salt (so maybe not Sisu) would be able to put something together to get past that. Good to hear no...

Honestly mate, pick your battles. The freeholder bigging up their tenant ain’t it.
