Oddly there were two lads having a blazing row for most of the journey back on the train. I was sat there thinking to myself "good job we didn't lose!"
I'd book tickets nearer the bloody front, so I don't need binoculars to see who's who on the pitch!
Also, if somebody could actually tell the staff at Wembley Central Station that there is a special train to Coventry, so that when some rather confused people ask which platform it leaves from...
I don't think so.
Let's face it. What else have we had to celebrate as a club lately? We may have won a trophy last year but this is a lot bigger. It should be celebrated. We don't get many chances.
I'll be honest in that I thought we'd either go up automatically or not at all, but mostly leaning to the not at all side. I think over the years I've learned not to get my hopes up too much where city are concerned. I've never been so glad to be proven wrong though!
I lost my voice today. I just honestly can't get over the fact it's us for once. It seems to have been everyone else at some point, but never us. I don't think I stopped being nervous until we were 3 Up, then they went and scored so I ended the game nervous! But what a moment this could be. I...
What a day! Thought at half time there had to be more to come, and not was there ever. I had 2 hours kip last night, I don't think I'll get much more tonight I'm so excited, just amazing. What a team, and what support too, excellent all round!
Positively bricking it. Never been so nervous about a football match! But also excited. I'm sure it'll be a rollercoaster day. It certainly won't be easy...
I really believe Danny Ric is the best thing F1 has going for it now. A thoroughbred overtaker, and today had nerves of steel. Really thought it was over when he had his engine problem. Shows how good that car is though that whatever he lost on the straights he could gain back in the corners...
I got 2 in 548 just before the rush started. It'll be my first time at Wembley for Football. Missed '87 by a couple of years and didn't fancy it last season with our league situation. I can't begin to describe how excited I am by it, and I'm sure this is the biggest game in my years supporting them.
Certainly seems to score some outrageous goals! Think he's adapted well over the season. He's been much improved second half of it. He may not be out and out prolific, but he does a lot for the team. And goodness, does he score some beauties.....
When I sat in the home stand at Forest Green, watching possibly the worst performance I've ever seen a city team play (I wasn't there for Yeovil, luckily!) I honestly thought we'd blown the season. I fully expected a typical slump that would take us out of contention, no way back. It's the way...
What a night. What a performance.
I honestly thought we'd be backs to the wall for the entire game, probably crumble under the pressure. My heart was going like a jackhammer before kick-off. In the end, we smashed 'em. Great job.
Onto Wembley. It's not over yet, but we know what we can do. We...
