Shadowy Coventry sports bodies, a City of Rugby & squeeze on CCFC

Unacceptable. If the RFU want to fund additional promotion of Rugby that’s OK, if the FA want to fund additional promotion of Football that's OK. CCC money should be dealt out evenly in proportion to a sports popularity and participation levels.

I have to agree, transparency is not there. Mind you if you read back you will see I've been hinting at this line of attack for a week or 2, you never know maybe someone prepared to do some leg work was listening to me whittering on :dead:;) I am very much against "A City of Rugby". That...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I'm wondering what else Dave & Gideon can claim will implode/fail/explode/fall to pieces as a result of Brexit? They are getting increasingly desperate as they realise just how out of touch they were.

A fear of the unknown is almost tangible in that comment, myself I'd prefer to take a chance believing it can't possibly be any worse.

    Future of this Football club.

Yeah fucking City of Rugby, not for me pal, the sport is only suitable for people of a certain build. Unlike Football, Cricket which can be participated in much more widely. By its nature Rugby is a very restrictive sport only playable by a small minority. Besides that it is my view that there...

Great idea if you want to leave yourself open to legal action. I think in this situation they'll make damn sure they follow the rules to the letter.

Football, second string to Rugby again?

Yeah, I've seen some guys in black tee-shirts with Russian sounding accents wandering round town.

Football, second string to Rugby again?

A completely stupid and irrational decision.

Regarding the idea of a large stadium at the Butts I can see about 10 of these reasons that might apply. It is one thing to spout on about a 20-25K stadium, it is quite another matter to get planning permission for it.

Someone listed the criteria when this all came up, I couldn't see any reasons that applied. FYI here they are again, http://planninglawblog.blogspot.co.uk/p/how-to-object.html There is also a lot of useful tips on this link, maybe someone else can come up with a useful idea by studying it carefully.
