    Forthcoming General Election

I don't think ultimately the UK will leave, the next Government will just cut a better deal with the EU. Wait till you see the manifestos. :chicken: PS that was my bet & why I voted leave, I just hope the EU itself takes Brexit as a cue to initiate some serious internal reform as part of the...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Maybe so, but that doesn't stop me pointing out some interesting facts about her. I had to google her, I no longer know who all the ministers are, I used to back in the 80's & 90's but I don't follow these things so closely anymore.

Ultimately, but basically the other Directors had such a light touch that a lot of shit happened before they started to scrutinise the details and that was only when they began to realise the capital in their interest bearing loans to the club were no longer safe. (in my opinion).

LOL, her being a scion of the Earls of Clarendon will surely have the peoples interests at heart, as well as seeking further opportunities to exploit loopholes in the rules for MP's expenses. Scandal and her family are well acquainted.

What are you currently listening to?

I flipped through Peter & Gordon doing (Lennon/McCartney) 'A world without love' on BBC2 last week, it keeps popping back in my head. Those earworm triggers planted in your childhood are buried really deep.

Digby Jones was quite good on BBC. EU needs to reform itself, not as corrupt as FIFA but a complete mess, honestly who can say how its supposed to work, one thing I do know is that there is no clear opportunity for the electorate to say "NO" because the MEPs don't have the power and the various...

    Sisu and the European Parliament

All these pan European treaties and such are a complete morass, you'd have to be totally committed to studying it all to have half a chance of understanding the difference between them. Quick google and I've found 4 courts, I think the last link is the one that may apply (at least to start...

Totally agree that Corbyn isn't a leader, if anything McDonnell is better, but possibly more scary.

There might be an official and an independent Labour party then. :angelic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_Labour_Party#The_ILP_and_Labour_Party_government_.281922.E2.80.9331.29

If he'd have bought Bale and Ramsay I'm sure he would have got us promotion, but instead he signed the dream team of Eastwood and Morrison.

Within the next 3 months. With new Tory & Labour leaders. Do you all think so too?

Certainly enhances the arena sponsorship potential. If you search you will find some information about various franchise deals Wasps signed, what I notice is that they are all quite long term deals, which I guess is a move to make them secure...

They take a smaller cut. I should take their bit out. So say roughly 2.5% then.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

I'm pretty sure it is for spectators, not for participation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sport_in_the_United_Kingdom

Where did you get the figure of 1.4% from? The rent is £100K, 15% of F&B is £75K, so the rest is approx £425K and parking assume car parks half full, 1000 cars at £5 for 25 matches is £125K. I make that £650K or roughly 3%.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

'The Voice' seems to be unbelievably unpopular. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36570893 WTF is going on there?

I think that is a tactic to put pressure on the CCFC, a 2 year countdown is now ticking, meanwhile the FA/FL continue to ask for progress on that new stadium. There is nothing to stop Wasps agreeing something at the last moment, I assume they are confident there is no realistic new ground plan...
