Some weeks we have only one junior in our side and this week will probably have none. The old guys that we played against were so miserable at the weekend, the 64 yo got run out early and even I learnt some new swear words as he left the field, the guy that was at the other end is an old skipper...

It can only be good all these young players getting a chance sooner, I am not sure at grass roots it’s the same most of the teams I am playing against are old Nuneaton has a 64 year old opening bat.

I did have a look he somehow made it but when fit in the second season was useless as teams had worked him out and there doesn’t seem much interest in him now. Talented but lazy especially for us he could only play until halftime. I would say the other two were spot on.
