A lot was made of the budget pre-season, I wonder what is left in the pot to reinforce ? The owners can already see that if the team is performing the crowds will be a lot better than last season, by the same token if we start to collapse again folk will drift off and revenue will diminish...

Not sure about banned, they don't want it crammed just before and just after events because the set up is not fit for purpose at the moment.

Whether it be cash for the decision or just a huge profit for the civil engineering company and some fringe benefits for the signees who knows but that £13.6 million wasn't all spent on raw materials that's for sure !

It reinforces my post a few days ago about selling your best players too early. We all know we have to sell to survive but if you capitulate too early and don't even get a full year out of them at their best then you never progress as a club and you won't get the best sale price for your star...
