An intelligent solution would be to recoup ANY fee we can. You keep saying he’s a proven talent… outside the ‘purple patch’ people keep referring to when has he shown this? Because imo he lacks talent in a vast number of key areas that you need to succeed at this level.

You need to understand it’s nothing personal against Simms. I’m sure he’s a lovely bloke and we all wish him well. But that doesn’t change the fact that the majority of the fanbase do not rate him as a footballer.
