I'm not sure now we play a back four whether a Hamer fits ?? He had a free role because of Kelly and Eccles in our playoff final season

To be fair I think once you show a player round and there's no follow up from the player or agent it's usually dead in the water

Eccles is consistently among the highest performers in his position if you look at the stats though . It's strange how some ,myself included , think he's a solid top end championship defensive midfielder and others rate him as a league one player .

So what would you value Eccles at ? He's surely 5 million plus?

Depends what the formation is surely ? If it's EMC and Sakamoto wide with Haji and Simms central then it makes sense . If we play one up top then yes our midfield pair needs to be more progressive
