Barnsley (away) match thread Tuesday 7.45pm

Nope. And I can't moan about my journey from the kitchen to the lounge to switch Sky Sports News on either. I probably will though.

    Progress

It will be a cold day in hell my friend, a cold day in hell! If we have a really good end to the season crowds will increase and we can make some money there. Carry on like we are and crowds will drop to about 9,000 and we will lose money.

What a great boost a victory would give us tomorrow though, eh! Just wish I could believe it. I think this has home banker written all over it, unless TM pulls some tactical masterstroke out of his hat!

    Fleetwood. Player ratings

He was one of my favourite players at the start of the season, but he hasn't had a really good game for quite some time I don't think. Lorentzson is quite attacking, so he gives us that option of getting to the byline and getting balls into the box.

If he wasn't captain I think he would have been rested. You don't see many teams dropping their captain though do you.

Think Bradford will beat Colchester, pushing us out of the top 6 for the first time in forever. Hope SP's lot will do us a favour, but can see this as a draw. Could do with Wigan beating Millwall. Not too worried about Port Vale, because we have two games in hand on them. Southend should...

A bit of light................ still (just about)

It's another reason why I'd like Lorentzson in, in place of Ricketts. Lorentzson is apparently a player who likes to get to the byline and support the attack.

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

Me neither, Torch, but if we carry on with these same tactics and same formation then I fear the worst. We need to change things around and try a slightly different approach, be that two up front, or whatever. We need to shuffle the pack and while not drastically changing things, we need to...

A bit of light................ still (just about)

I think we can still get in the play-offs. We need to change something though, because what we have at the moment isn't working.

JOB - should he come back?

Yup! He is closer to home and playing. Why would he now come back to us? Not going to happen.

Barnsley (away) match thread Tuesday 7.45pm

Tonight? Tomorrow, pax. A draw would be absolutely fine. Draw tomorrow and beat Rochdale and we can get back on track. Tall order though. Do we try and set up more defensively and hit them on the break, or do we throw a curve ball and throw the likes of Henderson into the fray, that would...

Barnsley (away) match thread Tuesday 7.45pm

Can't see one anywhere. Nick too busy getting annoyed that ACL are getting called the council on another thread! ;) Anyway, we dare not lose this one. Going to be very, very tough. Last 10 match form table, Barnsley are top. I know some people will say it's a must win, but we need to be...

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

It's okay, paxman says we are going to now suddenly have plenty of wins! That is based on ...errm ...err....... the fact we had back to back wins back in November? Everyone is now going to play like Bury? Bribery?

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

It's fair comment. Quite shocking to note that we have only twice this season had sequences of back to back wins. While earlier we were drawing and winning the odd one, now we are losing games we previously would have been drawing.

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

This often happens. It's the ones coming up on the rails you have to be wary of, while some teams at the top suddenly run out of steam and tiredness and injuries kick in. Bradford and Barnsley are the two that worry me.

Wouldn't Tories though say the sky wasn't blue if Labour says it was. You never listened to prime minister's questions? You say potato, I say tomato!!

    Whilst i'm very disappointed

Don't totally agree with that, but would say it is if we don't finish top 6. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there has only been one 3 or 4 day period when we have been outside the top 6 since the start of the campaign. If after being top 6 all season, we then drop out, that is...
