    Burnley striker....

The CT can a) rely on the club to feed information b) get information from insiders c) doorstep Ryton d) follow up rumours with transferring club or players agent e) ask player direct, e.g on social media All takes time & resources though, in actual fact about half the reporting staff at the CT...

    We need 6 more players

Not my words those of Tony Mowbray a few days ago. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-transfers-tony-mowbray-11709796 He was also attributed with saying "The Sky Blues boss is looking to draft in six new players before the transfer window closes at the...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Mixed messages coming out at the moment. I think a lot will depend on the way SISU approach talks. If the other parties feel they are not genuinely seeking a solution but trying to get evidence for their JR's then I reckon the talks could get suspended.

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

So, why is that surprising, it is clear the only party that wants the legal action to continue is SISU, they are the ones on the offensive. If you want peace you have to either destroy your enemies or talk to them.

The arena is leased from the council, Wasps don't have a freehold. Though unless they fold it is as good as theirs.

Why don't you ever rein in Grendel then? He regularly insults people in particularly obnoxious ways.

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

Yeah, no signing on fees, probably lower salary, it is quite hard to quantify. As for where the money went, its been spent, mostly on player salaries (not the players developed from the Academy, e.g. David Bell).

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

A piece about what the academy has been worth to the club. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-academy-how-much-11761353 I think this shows clearly what I argued previously, that transfer income is irregular and not guaranteed whereas spending to maintain the...

Is he still on the radar or was Turnbull it?

    Another Reid biased view

LOL, you don't understand my sense of humour. Actually the article is more measured than usual. I think it indicates a softening of attitude from SISU, maybe there is a bit of realism about the situation hitting home.

    Another Reid biased view

On Coventry Observer (strange no text yet).. so can't read but it is gonna be usual artlcle uncritical of SISU (they can do no wrong) and scathing of every other party (AKA the conspirators). http://coventryobserver.co.uk/news/save-city-coventry-city-call-multi-party-talks-academy/

INFO i was told tonight for OSB

"Critics of private equity funds contest that private equity firms make money for their investors without regard to stakeholders in the business. In most cases, the kinds of companies that private equity firms acquire are already in poor financial health, lacking in a competitive environment, or...
