Do you think we should continue to steer clear of tribute bands? Just thinking someone like the Bootleg Beatles or such like would go down a storm.

So, who would you like to see next year up there. Shame it always has to be bands or artists on the wane, but of course that is all we are going to be able to afford to get. Before coming up with suggestions I always have to do some research and see who is still going and who has reformed.

Never been in any of the bars there at all, but am always hearing of problems.

Some band with a good back catalogue of hits that can be sung along to and have more universal appeal.

Coventry Clash? Go straight to hell boys.

And as for the Darkness, wouldn't they have been better on Friday night? Would have thought on family day (Sunday) it should be a bit more poppie perhaps. Something a bit more universal. I thought Badfinger were pretty good today to be honest and was thinking that sort of thing, though they are...

I really liked the song Foundations, but today I watched the first song and thought it was awful, so we left then and went home. A world apart from her earlier stuff. Not sure if the whole set was like that. We had a great time, going all 3 days, but next year I have said to my daughter to...

Actually, I would say 100/1 is cowardly, but 100/3 is fair gane.

We saw the 100 youths. I guessed at 50, but my daughter said about 100. We saw about 3 or 4 kids run out of the fair and then about 6 or 7 seconds later about 100 kids piled out of the fair chasing them, girls included. I would say they were predominantly about 14-15 years old and mainly...

Yeah, totally agree with that. Been some great bands at the Godiva over the years and from all genres.

Fab commentary. Someone should send it into the Beeb so they can be snatched up by Match of the Day.

Yeah, but it's only the left overs from what I was eating there while you were at the game.

Anyone heard of a stabbing today? Rumours going round that it happened just a little while ago, but I am particularly disbelieving and suspicious of any rumour. My daughter's best friend is round and we were at the festival. Now her dad has rang me up to make sure she is safe saying there has...

Carl Barat formerly of the Libertines . Example is house music. Not really my thing either, but hey it's a festival of diversity and obviously the same can be found at Glastonbury albeit on a much larger scale.

Yep and I've only ever thought of them as a Spinal Tap type band too. On the whole I loathe guitar solos and I have a particular dislike for falsetto vocals too (I do allow Matt Bellamy and Brian Wilson to get away with it on occasion). But surely the rock night last night would have been...

Yeah, quite like the Killers too. Aren't Royal Blood the type of band liked by both indies and rockers alike?

This year, or in general? Each and every to their own like I say and wasn't there a rock tent last night? Main stage was Cast and Stranglers, but in the Rhythm Tent it was all rock. Would that not have appealed to you at all?
