    Mowbray needs to go

Not sure. God knows if he is any good or not. You have to dismiss Celtic, because anyone would be expected to have a very good win percentage there. You have to dismiss Bolton because they are a basket case. No idea on him to be honest.

    Next Season

Would love to get Jack Stephens back for another season. I like his calmness and he has good ball retention and he can also play anywhere across the back four.

When did 4 wins in 22 games become acceptable to people?

Very good point. How many times have we tested any keeper lately? Can only think of Alnwick at Peterborough. Most games of late the keeper doesn't even have a save to make.

Tell me why he should keep his job?

If the best manager we have had in a while gives us 11 points clear of 7th to 8 points behind 6th, then that surely just shows us how crap all our managers have been. Doesn't point to anything positive about TM. What are we trying to say about him, that he is just slightly not as bad as the...

    Mowbray cwr

I do love his interviews, but saying the next player who doesn't smash a penalty will be immediately subbed is very childish and rather unprofessional. Maybe the pressure is just getting to him.

    Mowbray cwr

Yes agree, but if the opposition know you are going to smash every penalty it allows the keeper to second guess. Most penalty takers vary their style occasionally (changing corners, hitting the ball low or high).

But does Mowbray know our system? I am not convinced. :)

You also have to look at that initial form and accept that Armstrong was a complete unknown to opponents. It took a while teams to learn how to play against him, but they gradually crowded him out and denied him space. Of course he is good enough to still be able to score with regularity, as...

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Yep about right. I think we will almost certainly lose the next 4, Gillingham, Wigan, Millwall and Bradford and then will get a win out of Sheff Utd and Oldham and Doncaster. My guess is Sheff Utd. Think we owe them one and will be up for that match.

    Mowbray needs to go

Flatters to deceive unfortunately. He's like a Kinder Surprise. You get one, think it looks great, are all excited about opening it, but when you look inside there's not a lot there.

    Mowbray needs to go

Oh my God! I've always wanted one of those.

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Just cannot see us getting anywhere near 10th for sure. Really think now might be the time to give some youth players some game time. We're losing with our first team. Might just as well lose with a team that includes our academy. Tell them no pressure on them this season and for them to be...

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

Then we have Millwall and Bradford. Couldn't be any tougher.

So where do we now expect us to finish this season?

I think 15th. Confidence shot, feeling sorry for oursleves, nothing to play for, up against the best teams in the division for the most part. Think the slide will go on for some time yet. Next two games are Gillingham and Wigan away.

    Team for Gillingham

So many passes were completely telegraphed last night and played directly to feet rather than into space. It was so predictable and so easy for Colchester to defend against.

    Player Ratings

He was doing that. I reckon he was more in the opposition box than any other City player. Always getting forwards and making himself available and he could have easily have had two assists last night.

    Player Ratings

I think he looks like he will fit the bill. Just don't think TM rates him.

Does anyone still believe we're going up?

Wouldn't at all be surprised if Gillingham turn the tables on us and put us to the sword. Now TM has accepted we are not going up or making the play-offs, the players now have very little incentive and the holiday beaches beckon. Exactly the type of team Gillingham want to be playing at the...

Tell me why he should keep his job?

I agree on Stokes. What we need next season is two quick fullbacks with the ability to get up and down the pitch and provide good quality into the box. I love Stokes, but he is not the quickest and if he has any weakness it is getting forwards and helping the attack. Play him at CB. Have we...

Tell me why he should keep his job?

I would keep RCC, but I think we need an older head as back up. Don't like having two young goalkeepers as our only option.
