    Books

I read Filth and found it a bit disturbing. It left me feeling a bit 'dirty' (if that's the right word) after reading it. Peter Hook's book on joy Division is a good insight if you're looking for a music related book.

    The Favourites

Just realised that Oxford have sold Kemar Roofe to Leeds for £3 mill. This is why they're flashing the cash a bit. They've lost their best player, their goalscorer and the pace they had up front all in one.

Danny Baker's great. Used to love listening to him after the football on a Saturday.

    Designer clothes

Part of them growing up I'm afraid. My lad wasn't bothered at all really although he always wore football and sports tops. He has started to get designer stuff but has a paper round so pays for stuff himself. We will give him a bit towards it but not a lot. He bought a Burberry polo short a...

    Chilcott inquiry report published

Pretty much so. The report appears to say that he 'pushed' for war and forced the cabinet into the decision and it looks like he dressed up evidence to suit his agenda of becoming worlds number 1 good guy. How wrong he was.

    Chilcott inquiry report published

In a paragraph entitled The Evidence, Blair writes: "Again, I have been told the US thinks this unnecessary. But we still need to make the case. If we recapitulate all the WMD evidence, add his attempts to secure nuclear capability, and as seems possible, add on Al Qaida link, it will be hugely...

    Chilcott inquiry report published

He and the lovely Cherie (they come as a pair) were in office for two reasons. Money and his ego. I couldn't watch that programme the other night as it'd just wind me up more as I hate them both with a passion. People were celebrating when Margaret Thatcher died. Well, I can promise you that...

    Chilcott inquiry report published

A war crimes trial would be the ideal situation with a hanging at the end of it. Doubt it will happen. Lets just hope that they both burn in hell for eternity.

Cadburys Whole nut, Devon cream tea with Jam or a Sausage sandwich any of those three would feed me forever.

Nobodys snapped him up yet so I reckon we might keep him for 12 more months.

The best ever wind up you've pulled or been a victim of

Many moons ago I used to play u21 league cricket. It was always a good laugh. After one game the 'team thicky' as we'll call him went for a shower. He was rinsing his hair out with his eyes tightly closed so as not to get soap in them. Unbeknown to him someone kept putting more shampoo onto his...

The best ever wind up you've pulled or been a victim of

Early 90's I was driving to city match vs Newcastle or Sunderland and was going along the A1 in my MG metro Turbo. Overtook a bloke in an XR3i with a fit blonde passenger. He didn't like me overtaking so moved back out and drove alongside me at about 80mph staring and giving it the big un. No...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

If more people voted in the referendum then probablility says that of those extra voters 48% would vote remain and 52% to leave. People had initial thoughts that they'd make a mistake because of all of the hysteria in the media and on social media sites. Now they've realised that the world is...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Thanks for the sympathy Mart. Depends on your outlook though. By leaving something that a lot of people were/are not happy with (the majority according the the referendum result) it gives the UK a change to operate outside the confines of the EU. Why would you feel sorry for us? Surely there is...

    Godiva

Went to see the Charlatans last night. Plenty of their back catalogue and a few off the last album for good measure. They were very very good. Anyone see the bbomtown rats on friday? I was told that sir bob was being a bit of a prick.

    Daniel Crowley

He didn't set the world on fire last season at Barnsley. Their rise up the table coincided with him leaving I think. I know he's supposed to be a star of the future but time will tell.
