The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

As per usual. British wages are supposedly increasing in some areas by 2% against 3% inflation. My employers union is still negotiating with the trade union, but have advised us to pay our staff 3% extra voluntarily until the deal has been completed. Inflation is much less than 2% here. As a...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Which part? The bit about us aligning with your mate Juncker‘s Luxemburg? Our tax havens? We invented them to screw Napoleon. See Jersey. Or other factors which help the stock markets?

What is not true? Or is it drivel because it doesn’t fit your agenda?

Well Brexit seems to be benefiting Germany and the USA. DAX and Dow Jones arebteaking all records. Merkel is over the moon. The Germans are pissed off though that the UK is aligning itself with Luxemburg and Malta against EU plans to curb tax havens. I thought that Juncker and Luxemburg were the...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Yes, but it doesn’t work like that. They just postponed my language exam here until the end of January. I need that for my German/ EU citizenship. Really annoying. Got all other details. They could now say get them all again as by January they are out of date. End of January I am in Berlin and I...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

We don’t know, but something has to give. I think the Tories have had it. Corbyn can flip either way.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Well at the moment it looks like no deal.. at least before next year. I don't know what the final deal will be, but if May goes quickly and we have an election, then it is no deal based on how far we have got to at this point. I don't think we could be negotiating from a weaker position than now...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

She hasn't got a cat up her arse as far as I know, so it's bye bye May. There is no good deal, but Labour are in a better position top obtain a compromise than Davis and co..

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Not just young people. I am 62 and the Tories are certainly not inspiring me. Brexit has energised me no end. But, unfortunately I have no vote.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

I can’t see the EU making any compromises. Why should they? The UK is split. The government is falling apart. The EU is not the one leaving. They have time on their side, whereas the UK has to convince companies that Britain is going places or else investors will look elsewhere. The last thing...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

We could also talk about us with our crown dependencies being the biggest tax haven In the world. Which is why we arligning ourselves with Luxemburg and Malta to weaken the EUs attempts to reduce the amount of tax in tax havens.

Do you mean gays wanting to live their lives as they want to and then being discriminated against because they are gay? My problem would be if the AfD wanted to meet in my pub. Then I would probably draw the line. But I don’t think not accepting people of a different political persuasion is...

In what way am I intolerant? I think they are wrong, but I don’t take any action such as discriminatory action. Do I have to share people‘s beliefs to be non discriminatory? I ignore the views of most of 7 billion people simply because I can only relate to what I know. That is not discrimination.

I am a bigot because I am a non believer? Or because I don’t discriminate?

Lets see how well this goes down on here

I employ temporary staff on events and in the work contract they have the right to complain about forms of discrimination. This is an EU requirement written into German employment laws. If I discriminated on religious grounds I would be in trouble. This is what actually happened with the...

I wouldn’t refuse them because I don’t worship invisible beings. The question of refusing people because of religious beliefs or sexual preferences based on my religion doesn’t arise.

I have an opinion- that is I think. The law will decide. If the law is against discrimination, then that fits in with my opinion.
