The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Nothing, or rather little to do with the EU. Although Lindner is against an EU finance minister and transfer payments on a regular basis. Main problem is between FDP and the greens. Environment and non EU migration. FDP gives Merkel the blame for letting the others fight amongst themselves...

Did the owners of the above mentioned football clubs have a good relationship with their councils, or did they try to batter them in court?

I don’t think they should. I think we should all have the same rights as EU Citizens. In Brexit Britain it will be different. This thing cuts both ways at the moment though. A UK citizen could bring a non EU spouse to another EU land. So Brits have the same rights on non EU spouses.

No. But I don’t want to be caught up in a tit for tat situation. I came as an EU citizen and because of other people who largely didn’t know exactly what they were voting for, I could lose some of my rights in a tit for tat situation. But, you don’t give a toss about the side effects of Brexit...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

I am in favour of that as I said. It works both ways. Germany will have to reduce their corporation tax. There will be some leeway at first whatever happens. But undercutting each other isn’t in the best interests of Europe.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Yes, I know that is the aim. It has been stated often enough. Even by Juncker.

They came under EU law and don’t want their rights taken from them. The EU is protecting those rights. I hope the UK will be protecting my rights in the EU. I doubt it though with the present tosser government.

The evidence is that Appleby was asked by Apple which was the best UK dependency to stash their money in. They wouldn’t have asked if they weren’t aware how easy it was to stash money in UK dependencies. You posted the link proving the point.

So,everything in the UK and it’s dependencies is ok because she said it isn’t, but the EU is corrupt and helps tax dodging. Like your logic.

Exactly the opposite. The EU Parliament is the directly elected body of 750 MEPs. Their power is restricted by national governments- like Juncker‘s Luxemburg who have veto power. Things would get done if the parliament had more power and it would be more democratic as people vote directly for...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Yes ok. But.. “In a desperate attempt to save face, Nigel Farage is creating a smokescreen about costs. We agreed to pay our own. According to Farage’s own lawyers, this will mean he has to pay in access of £100,000.” So, who does one believe? A known politician/liar, or a charitable...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

His costs are 100000 £ if both sides are paying their costs. Which would be the case as neither got what they wanted. He has retracted and said he will not repeat his claims. So, in effect, he does have to pay 100000 £. Not in compensation.
  16. M

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

He will have to pay his share of the costs. 100000 €, whatever he says. He didn’t win and was forced to say he will not repeat what he said, he has stated that hope not hate is not violent. The opposite of what he originally claimed. Had he won, he would’ve stuck to his claims. But, as you...

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Apparently he did in costs: „Hope not Hate said Farage had fully covered his own legal costs, apart from a half-day administrative hearing where the two parties split the costs between them. The group said Farage was left with costs of around £100,000. Lowles said of Farage’s statement: “He’s...
