    Match Thread Cardiff

Yeah, the one that went out for a throw was a low moment (even for possibly the worst shooter at the club !) However, there was a still plenty that could’ve gone in. Not trying to defend the performance (terrible defensive errors and not clinical in front of goal) but wasn’t some kind of...

Ostis header against bar, max wide from four yards...these aren’t random 20 yard shots. Said before though...you’re not clinical in this league and you’re punished !

    Match Thread Cardiff

In the important areas we were but 21 shots away from home, 66% possession and home team scoring three from three in target also tells its another tale (think they dropped off after the third but crazy errors aside I think we’re in the game - said that so many times this season though !) Ps...

    Dreadful January window our downfall

Going to have to go two up. If so, Walker (and hopefully before end of season Godden) If he plays walker on his own up top, I think we’re fucked

will ebb and flow Clint. Rotherham have had a great run, will they keep it up ?? Wednesday aren’t up to much either. Plenty to play for but got to cut out the defensive shit. We ain’t keeping a clean sheet the way we’re defending so may as well go for it

Fair play. Showed some fight. Should never be 3-1 but as we’ve all been saying shat defending and not clinical enough and you get punished in this league. Still (bizarrely) hopeful but need to cut out the errors

Shambolic defending without our early season attacking flair/ability...a real joy to watch

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Haha, I know you werent aiming it at me NW. I was joking about many on here almost goading leavers to get back on the thread (I can only assume that everyones missing the good old Brexit arguments !) ps politically we (as well as me and a few others on here) probably aren't as far away people...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Just to bore people again (I hate going over old ground, as in my view its done) but some reasons I (and I guess others) considered: UKs budget contribution (pretty much based on GDP). How is this fair when we are ultimately a net importer of goods from the EU ie the EU countries/companies...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I knew as soon as I looked aybthe morning someone would’ve mentioned the City, with misinformation and/or context: Firstly, since the vote the city has taken on thousands of additional people (sure I read 15k) I think even the FT said no jobs will move on the back of the headline The main...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I was desperately trying to avoid this thread but it’s like people are trying to goad anyone who voted leave to get back involved !! it is lockdown and people are bored and want an argument I guess 😊 Firstly, I think the above transcended Brexit to better fair NW. It did however show that maybe...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

I agree thats still the most likely cause, however, the fact that China blocked the investigation for a year, limited areas of investigation and even on arrival made it difficult/delayed WHO reps, doesn’t really support a ‘we’ve got nothing to hide’ narrative. I doubt we’ll never 100% find out...

Good season to be promoted (with L1 budget). TV money should’ve plugged the gap caused by Covid and left some for the new signings. The bigger attendance/wage clubs (Forest, Derby, Sheff weds etc) would’ve really suffered

    Today’s games

Maybe I’m just the ultimate optimist but Blues are struggling, Wednesday got hammered and teams like Huddersfield and Luton are still only 2-3 points ahead. Fair play to Rotherham, didn’t see their form coming although probably best team that played us last season... team of beasts ! (Saying...

    Will we stay up ?

To be fair though I don’t think it would be such an issue without the long term injuries to Godden and Walker (take two main strikers out of any team and they’d struggle) We stay up if we can get either or both back for 10-15 games. Last game and a half is the best we’ve played for a while...

    Match Thread Coventry v Watford

Probably would’ve taken a point before the game (definitely would’ve pre Forest) but feels like two points lost. As has been said numerous times, not having Walker or Godden for so long is killing us James/Hamer/Ohare look a quality combination so I think there’s goals in us....desperately need...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Think I said that would hopefully be the case as older groups get vaccinated (percentage of younger people of total in ICU should increase - which bizarrely would be positive as showing signs vaccines are working). It might have started to already but guessing a bit soon to tell. The biggest...

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

Yeah, you, shmmeee and Fernando are right, the deaths will be a slow decline unfortunately but hopefully heading in the right direction. What will be interesting is whether the findings that the AZ vaccine (hopefully) reduces tranissibility will alter the modelling. I think the ones Witty was...
