Match Thread Coventry City at MK Dons Match Thread - Saturday 27th Jan

I'm hoping for Man City at the Ricoh. Not often we get too see players of that quality in the flesh.

Poll: Time to back up your thoughts!

I said top 10 at the start and still think we will be in the top 10. Where in the top 10 depends on if we manage to keep the first team players and if we can get someone who can score 8-10 goals by the end of the season. To be fair any of the 5 options are still viable.

    4 points behind 2nd

How about Burges tip on to the crossbar saturday, or the double save in the second half?

    4 points behind 2nd

We are 4 points behind due to 4 goal keeping clangers and at least 15 sitters missed. It's going to happen we are Div 4 with Div 4 players. To just blame it on the 2 keepers is ridiculous.

    Commemorative Shirt for Cyrille?

West Ham treated Bobby Moore terribly once he left. He even had to pay too go if he wanted to watch them. They only made a fuss once he had died and retired his shirt years later.

    Chances of Making The Playoffs

We need to put an unbeaten run of 5or 6 games together to give us some daylight. We definitely don't want 8 or 9 clubs still in contention going into April.

    Player Ratings

Burge 7.5 made some crucial saves. Tipped one onto the bar 1st half and the double save second half were excellent. Stokes 6 solid enough defensively, can't remember him doing much going forward. Willis & Davies 8 were both excellent attacked everything today. Willis just shading it as my MOM...

Home attendances were dropping so they thought it might entice more people to go. Didn't work and pissed off the membership.

    The Great What If?

I had it straight from the horses mouth years later talking to Butcher when he was managing Brentford. The Vile more than doubled Cyrille's wages to go there and City couldn't compete. Very genuine bloke Butcher when I was talking to him. He had been invited to join the ex players association...

    Robert Jarni

Jarni signed after the 98 World Cup. So whoever we played that summer. I can't remember. I remember Isias was the first player to score at the Riverside though. Funny what stupid things stick in your mind but when I walk to the kitchen I can't remember what I went there for.

    The Great What If?

Butcher wanted to keep Cyrille but had his budget cut and had to sack his best mate Mick Mills as his assistant manager. He offered Cyrille a contract but the Vile more than doubled Cyrille's wages so he left. Butcher made our worst ever signing in Paul Edwards. He made Haynes look like Kenny...

    Big Cyrille

Devastating news. Couldn't believe we signed him when we got him from West Brom. A true hero of mine. Scored my favourite city goal in my favourite City game with the winner v Spurs. I can still see it now, the cross coming in, Cyrille's header, Clemence tipping it into the bar, my...

James Maddison sell on clause? Bid from WEST HAM

Norwich were under financial pressure to sell a player. Now Pritchard has gone for 12-14 million depending which news outlet you believe, I think we will be waiting for the summer before we get our windfall.

    Biamou

Rosario has a terrible goal scoring record one season if I remember correctly.

    Time to forget about sisu...

I honestly believe if we had kept any of Reda,Turner or Stephen's fit for the season and kept Kent we would of gone up automatically.

    Time to forget about sisu...

It's now or never for promotion. If we don't go up this year the budget will be cut again and we don't have a Wembley windfall this season too boost funds. Robins seems to have it sorted on the pitch that we are very competitive despite the injured key players. Unfortunately there are 10 other...
