It won't be six months though. The judge has said the offence is in the category of a 5 year prison sentence, with a range of between 4 and 10 years. Can't see how it can possibly now be anything less.

Teacher guilty of sexual activity with two of his pupils. Sentence? 2 years! Surely that is worse than Johnson? That's 2 children and as a teacher he is much more in a position of responsibility.

He definitely should go to jail, but the sentencing does seem rather disproportionate. In the grand scheme of things, 5-10 years does seem rather harsh. Stick him in prison for 2 years and make him serve the whole sentence. He's lost everything as well hasn't he, so his punishment will continue...
