I’m not convinced that, like Rudoni, Haji is justifying his starting place.

I don’t really count BTA. He plays a number of different roles. Re Simms that can be seen as harsh He blows occasionally hot, but often cold for long periods.

Today none at all, but Haji was still poor. Over the past month they haven’t scored. That’s just not good enough.

I think it’s the one area where lack of competition is a real problem. I understand it keeps them happy, but the club comes first and they’re not producing the results to not justify another striker in the mix.

Yeah I think tonight has just slightly broken the illusion of Rudoni. He’s a great player, but he’s not undroppable. He’s has to provide himself as far as I’m concerned and get back to basics.

He’s not capable of holding up at all that’s for sure. If we’re going to play the long ball Simms is preferable.

Yep agree with this. Crucial for us in the championship, but would be less important in the PL as much more likely to be caught out

I disagree with the common consensus that we were hugely better in the second half. It was hard to be worse than the first. I felt throughout Ipswich were likely to win it.
