Hinckley and Burbage has a very strong contingent of Sky Blues ! I should know ! SW Leics is probably 15% Sky Blue, 5% other and 80% Leicester !

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Really, have you seen the crime rates soaring and the lists of wanted by the police, MI5 increasing numbers every year to increase surveillance. Burglary, muggings and vandalism are more or less just being referred back to insurance companies.

    Removing nelsons column

When you start erasing history and our foundation stones and only look to the future then its gonna be bleak. Parts of the country are already starting to resemble Alcatraz and scenes from mad Max ! Crime is rising as the police are cut and the courts are just pathetic. It's all a steady erosion !

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I'm in agreement of your last paragraph for sure, the UK Govt. has been culpable of being slack. But the point I'm making is that there are still 2 million unemployed Brits, many relatively unskilled who should be taking much of the warehouse type employment that is currently being snaffled up...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes but it should be relatively simple. Or at least it would be if the EU cretins will ever even attempt to negotiate a settlement. Thing is they don't want to, so it will drag on. In the meantime we start to get common sense policy muted like giving preference to UK workers for unskilled...

A female's perspective on some of our fans

Completely agree, the edge and rivalry at football matches were what used to make it stand out from watching other sports. Cov seems to have always had a bit of a problem with unity though, I remember as a kid in the 80's Cov fans from the likes of Bell Green, Tile Hill and Canley etc kicking...

    Booing of team... some thoughts

See the sexual assault thread for the likely types who were calling the players wankers and the likes. Again there is a mentality now that we can do what we want and we know our rights. Yes, it's disappointing and has been for some years now but verbally smashing up a bunch of players who have...

A female's perspective on some of our fans

Sadly for me, this is starting to reflect the world we live in, it's not just a football thing, these morons when drunk or drugged will do what they like. There is very little discipline these days, it begins with idiotic parents and then runs through schools and even to the police and their...

    Coventry RFC Thread 18/19

Ok great thanks for the info. I shall miss the first two home games due to a holiday but will be up there on Oct 7th. I missed Moseley at home last year as well, mind you I heard it was bedlam at the bars and they ran out of beer at some outlets ?!

A list of players means very little. Besides we are lacking some critical ingredients to continue with your analogy........A confident goal keeper, a creative midfielder and a big lump up front !

Match Thread Chesterfield - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Sep

It's just too early to make sweeping statements. It's only the best squad if it contains ALL the ingredients for success. At the moment I can see serious weak points in goal, midfield and up front ?!
