Don't agree at all about controlling the game either. I thought Rochdale controlled the game for the most part.

    Mowbray out ? No chance

Very, very fair point. Have Burton got better players than us? I would say not at all. Are Burton a much better team than us? Of course they are and without any shadow of a doubt. That therefore points to the set up of our team and the sum of individuals not playing together as a team...

    O'Driscoll sacked

Also, as I have said before, I have been positive all season long and it's only been about three weeks now where realism has kicked in for me, so to say I am forever pessimistic is quite preposterous, pax.

It could. Only if we change though. If the song remains the same there is only one way this season is heading.

But if we brought Henderson into the starting line up it wouldn't be to score goals would it? Same as with Fortune when we brought him in. What we are looking for is for a foil for Armstrong and a provider for Armstrong to score the goals he is quite clearly capable of.

    A couple of weeks later....poll

Really hard! If I knew TM was not going to change anything and just believes it will just all turn round, playing exactly the same system as we are, I would say no, no chance of play-offs. I do still think we have an excellent chance of making, but ONLY if we change the way we play. If you're...

Not over yet, Torch. Don't speak too soon. :) If it were over now I would agree with you, but there are still 12 games to go. Could be a long way to fall yet. ;)

    Mowbray out ? No chance

But then the question must be asked, is this or is this not, the best team we have had for many seasons? If TM is just having to deal with the same old, same old then fair enough. If this is however the best team we have had for a while and this is the poorest League One we have been in for...

Time to bring the curtain down

If Ricketts wasn't captain he would have been dropped. No doubt about it.

Time to bring the curtain down

Closer to the norm. We were terrible against Scunthorpe at home and worse still against Fleetwood and just totally inept and clueless against Rochdale. Against Bury we were just lucky that we came up against the worst defensive performance of any team seen here at the Ricoh for a number of...

Playing okay just occasionally would help though. ;)

Me neither. Well only if I got a vision the night before that we lost 9-3 and the odds on that were 500,000/1. Then I might just be tempted to have 25p on it.

BBC News: Burnden Park: Football's 'Forgotten' disaster

Burnden Park: 'Forgotten' football disaster recalled - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-35697169 Just reading about this terrible tragedy. :( First time I had heard about it. 1946. FA Cup match between Bolton and Stoke. The ground held 65,000, but 85,000 turned up and 33 people...

    Would a front 3 of

Armstrong still looked our best goal threat on Saturday. In fact, our only goal threat. I would love to see Henderson and Armstrong, in a big target man, little fella to feed off him, partnership. We have to remember, we need to change the system, cos it's clearly not working. A target...
