Does this mean the lease can only be held by a rugby club without imposing a ban on other sports/activities. Other events take place there, certainly the CAMRA Beer festival for around the last 10 years and I see a Comedy Club an upcoming Fireworks display . Semi-pro, they pay some players...

    WASPS & Compass

The penultimate document shows 100 shares 77 A & 23 B. I think Compass have taken their £4M premium back & 23 B shares not requiring a share premium have been issued to replace 23 shares with accompanying premium. At the same time the Directors have said the company is solvent, so I guess the...

I think I misread the number there, it must have been in £000's, £4M being cashed in but the document states that the premium was paid by Compass on B shares so it does not look like Wasps or ACL gets any of that money.

I don't see why they would deal with anyone taking legal action against them, it is a perfectly reasonable position.

    WASPS & Compass

Don't think that is likely, Compass is a huge company and Wasps rely on them to provide all the staff at the venue also it is a 10 year deal isn't it, I'd think it would cost money to buy out. It would be huge change and would mean everyone who worked there would have new contracts of...

The difference is that they went from an uncertain future to a secured future with a cash pool of £35M raised by the bonds to finance investments, admittedly there is also extra liability but that did not deter serious investors who I'm sure know a lot more than you or me. Also I think you're...

    Shops that are gone

Was it Ridleys Army Surplus store on Far Gosford St? Where to go to get an RAF trench coat or an army knapsack/backpack, I'm sure I had one of those for school for a while.
