Will Trust and Rob s be at Ricoh today

Moving Wasps seems to rank about as well as moving us to Sixfields in terms of a good business sense. Look at the crowds they're getting now, even if everyone of them turned up, and everyone abandoned Cov RFC the stadium would still be well under a third full. However for Euro games they need a...

The Club Shop - What it Needs!

I get that they've got a lot to deal with and all that but how difficult is it for someone to hire a mobile unit and get it to the Ricoh on matchday. Like you say that don't shut up about lost revenues but seem to make it as difficult as possible for anyone who does want to spend a few quid.

    Ticket Prices

Do the club ever approach the larger employers in the city to do bulk purchase deals with them?

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

Someone should let Tim and Joy know this, they don't seem able to grasp that you don't need to own the freehold.

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

And in Southamptons case telling SISU to get stuffed also helped!

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

You don't walk away, it's not a binary decision. You might however stop buying a season ticket and pick your games, the number of games you attend might decrease until you only go a couple of times a season and listen to the other games on the radio. You're still a supporter but you're not there...

Will Trust and Rob s be at Ricoh today

Totally agree. Before Sepalla's statement through GCBTR and the rumours started by Reid I would have been up for attending an organised protest. Now I'm not so sure. If everything being said is correct it could even work out better for the club for this deal to go through. Yes we would end up...

    Who would have Primacy?

Why are you trying to create a problem that doesn't exist and never will. It is very very simple. Football, both PL and FL, requires the club to have primacy on any potential match dates. Rugby, at any level, does not. Hence many football and rugby clubs share grounds. It really doesn't matter...

I'd take that, we could do with some good news.

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

You can't group all supporters together. We know there's a hardcore that will go even if we bugger off to Northampton, we know there's roughly 10K who will stick around no matter how bad the football if we're playing in Coventry. Problem is you need to get back the casual supporters or the ones...

The Club Shop - What it Needs!

You have to think that by far the busiest day would be matchday. Would be interesting to know the average take on matchday when we were last at the Ricoh with the shop open compared to now. They haven't even got the barrow organised yet have they?

    Who would have Primacy?

There's much more chance of me going to see them at the Ricoh than any rugby!

    3-5-2 Here to stay!

Excellent, didn't take long to find a new excuse for people not to turn up.

    How many clubs...

Why is it incredible? Football, including the FL, requires primacy, rugby doesn't. Seems like a non issue to me. Besides its not as if the primacy rule was enforced when we were at Sixfields, if it was we would have played on Saturdays and Northampton would have had to move their games.

    Fekin Les Reid !!!!

Why would ACL & CCC approach SISU when they are consistently saying, and have confirmed today via one of the people you are saying made the comment, that they are not interested in making an offer and are building their own ground? There is nothing now, or at any point previously, stopping SISU...

    Who would have Primacy?

Additionally I can't see anything that says Wasps would need primacy. Other clubs manage to share so I think that would be the least of our worries. We managed a season at Sixfields without primacy anyway so it wouldn't be anything new. Not like a lot of football is Saturday at 3pm as it would...

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

They are, hence the rock and hard place comment. But given that they're both roughly as bad as each other I would take an option that has us permanently at the Ricoh, possibly with ownership under the same group of companies over one that seemingly has no idea where we will be playing in a few...

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

So if Les Reid is correct we have a side to pick out of: 1) SISU - have no plans to even attempt purchase of the Ricoh. Insist new ground, outside Coventry, will be ready within 2-4 despite zero evidence anything has actually happened. Have run up the largest debts we have ever had, 2 points...
