Nothing worse than being in a meeting of 20 people while 4 people do all the talking. If you genuinely want everyone’s input you need to chair the meeting properly so everyone is asked. Otherwise just email out minutes.

My current place has a meeting culture of “keep working cam off if you want” which other than lots of “sorry can you repeat I wasn’t paying attention” seems to work pretty well. But equally there’s a company wide hatred of meetings so they’re quite rare.

I end up muting virtually everything on slack, but it’s integrations are nice and the app works better than Teams for whole company communication I reckon.

Zoom and Slack is the way forward. We’re a Google shop and it’s OK, until you want to use Excel it seems. Sounds to me like you need a new IT department TBH. I found OneDrive and 365 together to work seamlessly, it was once you stepped outside their ecosystem things had issues.

Was talking to my Iranian colleague and his Mum and Dad refuse to leave because it’s all they’ve ever known and regularly get harassed by the “police” or security services. His Dad sounds brave as hell and has been roughed up but generally says it’s part of life in Iran. Which is sad on its own...

There’s loads more blue, around the reply box, usernames, etc. TBH my only real serious complaint is the top bar is no longer sticky as you scroll. I navigate almost entirely through the notifications and now have to scroll to the top every time I want to navigate off a page.
