Really? Oh, I thought knee too. Ankle might possibly not be so serious.

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Don't think so. 50 feet tall? Are you serious?

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

But that is surely different and has no bearing at all on this game! Seems from reading that, that Arsenal set out to score. Completely different from this bloke from Guiseley NOT shooting at goal. And you talk of 'protocols' but I have seen many a game where a player has kicked it directly...

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

I reckon where it has gone wrong here is well before any chance to redress any balance! If you look at the video the Braintree players are going crazy with the ref, but by the letter of the law that is a goal. All the arguing and having a go at the ref and the opposition players and the...

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Well. I just looked and it doesn't go that far over his head. He's quite a way off his line, so I think he could have back stepped a few paces and reached it. If that had been a real effort on goal without the restart thing, that would go down as terrible goalkeeping to my mind. :)

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

Just watched it back again and I am convinced that if he had backed up he would have got it. You won't find anyone more believing in fair play and doing the right thing than me. I recall Robbie Fowler when he went down for a penalty against Arsenal and immediately got up and told the ref it...

Allowing the opposition to walk the ball in to redress the balance

He could have got that NW, I'm sure of it. At least given it a go. At first he makes no movement at all. I reckon had he really gone for it the opposition would indeed have redressed the balance.

You watch him come crawling back if we get in the play-offs though. ;)

    A Spender or Thrifty ?

Yeah, well that's the thing. I hardly ever bet at all, but if something pops up in a dream I have a go on it, because otherwise I feel I might live to regret it forever and a day.

Be careful what you wish for, he may be sacked by Brentford and be back in the Walsall seat sooner than you think! ;)

    A Spender or Thrifty ?

No! I wish. The horse was so random. Gem Bien it was called and it hadn't run for a couple of months, so there is no way I just picked up on it from previous days or races. Had a dream and the horse's name just came into my head. Looked the next morning and lo and behold Gem Bien was running...

Pretty sure Peter Ramage never played for England, NW.

    Conspiracy Question

You'd only have to bet on something like so many shots in so many minutes or suchlike. Things like that would be very hard to pinpoint.

    A Spender or Thrifty ?

I'm cautious, but never ever save. I am very free with my money, buying presents and stuff, so never, ever mean, but wouldn't have £30 bet on anything unless I was really, really confident of whatever it was paying out. My uncle would put £300 on a dog, no problem. I avoid slot machines and...

    Conspiracy Question

It's a ridiculous notion! For a start we'd have to keep letting silly goals in and missing lots of penalties ..... Oh... errm ...........
