Well yep, we will lose half our team, but then by the same token these are the same players who blew it along with the rest of the team. Haven't they all been distinctly average or worse for a number of games? Next season we need consistency of performance and we need more spirit, desire...

We've had this debate before haven't we and I do understand the argument to that effect (different teams, different scenarios etc) but for me I do feel it is relevant. No use treading over old ground though. I want Mowbray to learn from this season's mistakes and put it right next time. I feel...

Yeah, but it's hard to tell last week just how good Doncaster were and how bad we were. Probably a combination of both, though both TM and the fans said we were pitiful. Very surprised to see Doncaster lose 3-1 at Crewe today. Really thought they would kick on from beating us and pick up at...

Agree. Don't think TM does though. Willis' distribution is not his strong point and for me he is a no nonsense defender there to win the ball and be big and strong in the penalty area.

Yeah, we have to be careful that this little flurry doesn't give us false hope. We have played with the shackles off amd previously we had been nervous and tentative. Of course we will now never know how the likes of today's game had panned out and we had have beaten Doncaster and been within 2...

True. We would probably have seen a completely different City if these were games we HAD to win. We played without pressure and that benefitted us for sure, Doncaster apart.

We need players with a stronger mentality. I quite like Murphy, but you do have to question his desire and spirit at times. Armstrong would run all day for you, as too would Vincelot and Stokes and Martin and that is the type of character we need more of. I feel with Lameiras and Maddison...

Would say the Burton game too. It was a very tight affair and to my mind it looked like it might well end up in stalemate. A dreadful error by Phillips though gifted them a goal and changed the game. From that point on there was only one team in it.

Not sure to be honest. I think he picked up on my thread. In an ideal world for me it would been perfect if we could have put TM on gardening leave, brought in a new manager to take us back into the play-offs and then reinstated Mowbray! :)

If that's your opinion, fine. Not going to argue the toss about it. :) I know in my own mind what I meant and what I intended and for my part there was no campaign or motive and I just wanted to see other people thoughts. I thought our only chance of making the play-offs would be if we changed...

I hope so. He seems a really decent bloke and not an arsehole, so that is always a bonus. For me he talks a lot of sense in his interviews. I also like that he wants to play football and has no qualms about throwing players forwards. Very positive in his thinking, which I also think is a bonus...

No, as I said, I just wanted to ask people if they felt that changing the manager could salvage our play-off hopes. It wasn't a thought process of mine, I was just asking what other fans thought. I didn't want him sacked, but did feel that sacking him might be the only way we would have a...

Well we will have to agree to disagree. :) I was totally behind Mowbray. I predicted 7th pre-season but then when we got in the top 6 I was predicting promotion and quite rightly so. We started slipping a bit and I still backed him. I did then say that if we slipped out of the top 6 we...

Sorry, but that is complete and total bollocks. I have never wanted TM sacked. It was never my motive. Please point me to anywhere where I have said I want him sacked. The only post I said anything about the matter was when I asked that if we sacked him would it give us a better chance at the...

I'm of course talking about when we played Doncaster. Not talking about previously. When we played Doncaster they were the worst team in the league on current form. 1 win in 17 matches.

Typical of City to blow such an opportunity and against the worst side in the division on their form of the last 15 matches or so.
